Dude, stop being such an insufferable jackass. This BYU fan has a lot of class. You could learn a lot from him.

You're no better than the Bama fans who post "21-0" or "L6U every time LSU comes up in a thread.

I was impressed with the discipline on D. Your Coaches knew Lsu was loaded with talent. Ya play a bend but don't break and hope for a big turnover or STs play here and there to maybe give yourself a chance. Byu ran into a buzz saw with arandas D. It will only make your team better prepared for the next game

I wish more fans were like you. Collage football would be so much better if so. I hope BYU goes on to a successful season.

Would love to see us play yall in Provo for a late afternoon game. Seeing the mountains in the back ground would just be awesome. And if all BYU fans are like you it would be a wonderful trip.

By the way I just named you an honorary tiger !!!

Geaux BYU
Geaux Tigers.

Good job BYU fans, yall showed guts.

Having dealt with Decadence / Pride Fest during the game relocation was no easy task.

Our folks in the Dome said the volume of only 2,000 Cougs' loyalists made serious noise.

Although your offense didn't.
But ur D has promise, and for SOS, we'd appreciate it if you'd beat Utah or do some damage to Wisconsin.

As long as yall look the other way when we sneak our alcohol into ur Mountainous venue, future showdowns are a good idea.

--Your Boney Fuller twitter guy was hilarious too.

.....ever since Fletch, I figured a flight to Provo was in order :

Loved talking smack with you.

I was pleasantly surprised you posted during game and now. As stated last night, you and BYU are class acts.

quote:

I will hate to my dying day that we responded to your 12 and 13 personnel groupings with only 5 or 6 guys in the box.

I must completely disagree with you. Your coaches played vanilla because they are good coaches. Your boys are big and strong, but you are still underrateing SPEED! To stack the box, you must cover 1-1. The fast passing game and edge running attack would have ripped off a higher yards/play average and resulted in more offensive plays. Our coaches were content to run and average 5 yards per play. And so were yours!

General Nathan Bedford Forrest, "get there firstest with the mostest". War and football have many similarities!

quote:

BYU was crap.

I must completely disagree with you again. While your team would be slaughtered by the top third of the SEC. Y'all would be competitive with the bottom third. Not predicting a victory over Miss State, but you will feel better after that game. This in no way makes your team crap! There are only 10 teams in the top 10. But I can see BYU becoming bowl eligible. With a bowl win, top 25 is possible and not bad!

quote:

Hope that our teams can schedule games in the future. I'd love to see a game in Baton Rouge and BYU has a venue/backdrop second to none.

Probably not going to happen. LSU needs exposure and money in addition to victories to stay nationally competitive. Money comes from home games in our 100k+ stadium, and the SEC TV contracts. The 14 school SEC requires 8 SEC games with half being away. Since NCAA allows only 12 games that leaves only 4. LSU prefers to play only 1 high paying TV game against a quality opponent that would normally demand a home and away series at a one and done "neutral site" for money and exposure. This normally gives us 7 home games, 4 away SEC games, and 1 neutral site high pay exposure game. A home-away series with BYU would result in a 6.5 home game average over two years.

Only way we play again is: y'all agree to play in Baton Rouge only, we meet in a bowl, or a TV/Venue package pits us against each other again! Back in the 10 and 12 school SEC days we would do a home and away series with y'all. This is why we no longer play our oldest in state rivals Tulane! Those morons would do well to take a yearly Baton Rouge series but they have complications and pride.

I will have a soft spot for BYU from now on because of your worthy opponent bearing! Still wish y'all were a-holes to make the game more tasty!

Beat Utah, and geaux Cougars!

The guy who flipped your players off is the only one that down voted you.

Beat Utah! Good luck to the Cougars the rest of the way. I'm glad our two nationally respected programs FINALLY got to meet on the field. It was long overdue. Tonga, the DT, is a flat-out monster! It was very impressive the way he blew up that 4th and goal play. BYU and its fans are first class all the way.

Respect your fans for getting the place filled as much as it was with three days notice. Don't care if one drunk kid flipped off our players.

I think the BYU fans deserve more respect in that regard, y'all had a great turnout last night despite having to change travel plans last minute.

I've been to Utah about 8 years ago so I shouldn't be surprised, but you guys really are a great bunch. You are all humble enough to understand your position in the college football world, but you are a passionate crowd who loves their team and reps them hard and with intensity. And you all do this with the discipline to refrain drinking a Coca-Cola, not to mention a Jack-and-Coke. As much as I love Louisiana's partying culture, in my opinion there's a time to party and a time to be responsible, and we can learn a thing or two from your fanbase.

I deeply respect the people of Utah and I will always root for your teams. Except, of course, when they're playing LSU!

You should spice that up with something besides tears.

And I agree, I think and home and home would be awesome.

The BYU defense did impress me with their pursuit to the football. I think their relentless "everybody to the football" prevented Guice from taking it to the house on several carries. Not every team is that well coached. Guice will take many to the house... believe me.

Yes, we're pretty strong up front but we're playing some true freshmen on the OL, and not much depth due to transfers. I hope they can hold up all year. Good luck to BYU the rest of the season.

Great game last night. You don't have to leave this site though. They have awesome boards not about the LSU/BYU game.

Maybe go over to the Tiger OT and introduce yourself as a new member.
