It angers me so much for us to be in this position and to be portrayed this way

We recruit to well and have a highly paid staff. We are not getting any respect and some fans are throwing in the towel but I can't blame them at times. I really hope we turn things around.

If you followed this team, you would have known this was a possible outcome. I will continue to watch every snap of every game; but I knew we would be soft in the middle of the defense.

Me,too. However, it should be noted that:
LSU has lost at least 2 games every season since 1963, except 1969, 1987, 2003 and 2011.
People are rightfully upset about the poor offensive execution/scheme or combination, and defensive play - even if we're only talking about the disastrous outings in conference play, thus far.
Having said that, we have one of the youngest teams in the conference. While that is no excuse for being unprepared, it does offer the best potential for improvement during the season, rather than waiting until the mythical "next year".
I had no great expectations for this season, particularly with the high number of freshmen and first year starters at key positions. Because of the recruiting ebb and flow, I've always thought our next great year was going to be 2015 or 2016.
Recall that LSU lost 13 games over the 3 seasons prior to 2011.
