I didn't do BPB today, because I was actually at the game. I watched the game with 2 TD posters, CharlestonTiger and LSUMANINVA. Charleston's son kept complaining while we were down, and asked to leave multiple times, saying there was no way we could score 4 runs in only 2 innings. I didn't read TD during the game, but I'd imagine he would have fit right in.
All I kept saying to him was "It's not over", that with our lineup, we're never out of a game. And then the last 2 innings happened, and we won. He ended up being pretty happy that he stayed.

One day they’ll probably make a movie based on the tale you just told

How old was the kid? If a youngster he just learned a valuable lesson. If older he should have known better.

Are you going to be able to make the game tomorrow? What's the weather look like?

Old enough to meet me at Sonic for a knuckle check.

I remember another game being down 4 runs with just a couple of at-bats to go:

Glad you got to make it especially with 2 other posters and the child, I'll bet all had fun...he would fit right in no doubt but absolutely we are never out of it with this year's bats...especially why I hate run rule this year because we easily could catch 10 in 2 innings against a burnt pen. Missed your BPB Thurs ( Good Friday stuff today) but JML Covered nicely for ya..stay safe.

I've got a ticket, so I'll be there. The weather isn't looking great, but we'll see.

That's great. I love when youngsters learn lessons about not giving up. One of the best things sports teach.

Cheer, it was good seeing you again today. The last time was 2019 at UGA. Hope they can get the game in tomorrow for you.

There are so many trolls on this board now. Not sure why it’s allowed tbh
Certain folks post like clockwork when we are losing or not playing well but disappear when it’s over and LSU has won

In Little League, as a 10 year old, we were in the championship game against the only undefeated team in our league. They had kicked our a$$ twice during league play.
We had these guys 11-1 with two outs and nobody on in the last inning. The final score was 11 - 10.
Baseball games, like life itself, are not ever over until they are over.
I played baseball until 24 years old. I will not ever forget that Little League game and the lessons it taught.

Every sing game. In the event we should fall back a run or even 6 I guess you should post a link to this thread over and over to attempt to keep the melters at bay but.... unfortunately love that story
