A well represented wrap-up of where we are in the journey. Trust that my head is held high and my heart is more motivated than ever. I appreciate all of Coach Miles' comments. Especially in regards to peoples' suspicions that this is a publicity stunt. I'm not sure how over 15 months of 4+ hour training days and countless sacrifices made in my personal and athletic life could ever be viewed as a publicity stunt, but all are entitled to their own opinions. I am looking forward to working as hard as I possibly can for the next 5 months to prepare for August. I know that, no matter the outcome, God's will will be done. But as for right now, He has blessed me with a healthy body, a strong leg, and a determined heart. And I intend, above all else, to be a good steward of His provisions and glorify Him through my life.

She may yet make it, we'll have to check back with her in August I guess.
Regardless, I echo the thoughtful comments made by folks about Mo. She's become one of my favorite athletes to don the P&G and definitely has brought, in my opinion, nothing but positive attention to our university, our soccer program, and now to our football program.

Best of luck to her, but Miles has already stated that unless a kickers does something amazing, they "don't usually" aka "never" walk-on.

Still dont get when she started to dream of playing college football.

I hope you're right.

I don't see how Meaux not making the team is win/win. W/ her on the team, we would get more media attention than any other team. I wouldn't be surprised to see all of our games in 2012 televised if for no other reason than to see the Homecoming Queen tack on an extra point. Just think how many more millions that would be for the University.
And then there's the X factor of having a "little sister" on the team. She's quite the motivator and could be a huge asset when the team needs something to rally around.

This is what I was thinking. To be quite honest, it sounds phoney to me. To be quite honest, a lot of it does.
That said, she actually can kick it pretty good, and I'm sure she's a nice person.

She goes like a linebacker so if not kicker, maybe she can be 2nd string Will.

Guys, she wants a ring and not the MRS type

Big sister - she is older than many of the players.

I don't get why anyone would be against her making the team. She wouldn't be taking away anyone's spot, and she would only be there if she were competent at kick field goals. Makes me wonder what the strong opposition is about. Care to explain?
