Didn't notice Saturday, but did Valentine see the field any? He must've really screwed up, but hopefully he'll redeem himself enough to get in the rotation for Bama.

Sorry if German.

why? he'll play if he's worthy. if not, then he wouldn't be helping the team anyway

He is on third string. He is lofting at practice. Prob not in shape and can't hang. Hopfully he turns it around. True freshman jumped in front to 2nd team

Need that man against Bama.

Period.

You can't teach his size and strength and we need all the depth on the lines as we can get against that team.

I took O's comments as more of "these freshmen have earned the spots" more so than Valentine just not giving a shite. He's a fat, hole plugger. He should see some snaps against the run heavy Bammers. Hopefully he ceizes his opportunities as he may only get 10-12 plays depending on the situation.

I just love how our fans latch on to a player and want him to play no matter what.

If he earns the play time then great. If not, then he should sit.

Sounds to me like V is a little bit lazy.

Lofting is drafting difficult curved surfaces. It would be counterproductive to have your defensive linemen working on drafting techniques at practices. It would, however, give them a possible career alternative if the NFL doesn't work out.

Valenitine had a blowout with Pete Jenkins and of course that didn't sit well with Coach O.

Its quite clear we need Valenitine in the middle. Gilmore will get plowed vs. Bama.

Lofting can also be soft tossing small objects with aim at a specified target. If that NFL thing doesn't work out, beer pong could be an alternative. Of course the poster could mean he was lofting (beer pong) during practice. Not good.

He should get to know Coach Moffett if he wants to see the field.

I dgaf if he plays or not. I just thought after 2 weeks on the bench, he might have straightened up.
It'd be nice to have his size in the middle, but a lazy smart arse is the worst thing you could have out there.

Seems to me when Valentine was playing lsu was running more true 3-4. They have since run more Nickel and 4 man front looks.

Alexander has earned his playing time. There were several times against Ole Miss that Alexander made the clean up tackle by being active. That guy is giving great effort. He looks real good for a freshman.
