We all know that Curley was nothing without Brett Favre. Has a TJ team that did not include 7'0" tall twins ever do anything to put him in the category of an above average coach?

Sad what you get for a little over a million/year nowadays. Talk about hyperinflation.

It was just two seasons ago that he won the SEC.

The man can coach. Recruiting seems to be his only weakness.

Trent made the NCAA Tournament in 3 of his 4 years at Stanford.

That, he did. His track record also says that he'll give you one very good season and a hover just above .500 the other years. History says Trent peaked in his first season here. Nothing about this coach has me excited for the future of LSU basketball.

Trent seems like a really good guy and I want him to succeed, but tonight's effort should really raise some eyebrows. It's one thing to lose to these guys, but to be totally outclassed in your own gym? Ugh

did you see where since 03 its only the 4th time we've lost to a non-BCS team by more than 20? Trent has 3 of them. Utah, UNT, Xavier. Brady lost to Wichita

This says it all. This team has no PRIDE. At least last year some had pride. This is shameful for an LSU Coach to be paid, what, a million bucks, to put a team on the court to look like dat?!? Really?

this board wanted Brady gone-, this board raved over TJ as the solution

Am I to understand the tide is changing?

I don't want this to come across as a jab at Johnson because I am truly on the fence, but he inherited a very good squad from NBA coach Mike Montgomery at Stanford. He also inherited a very nice squad from Brady.

So disappointing I'd love for hoops to be back, but even in good years I'm not sure TJ's brand of basketball will ever inspire the town. Eh maybe I'm just too down after this.

No do you see we have 2 freshman as leading scorers....We have a 7 foot kid that has to sit out a year and will contribute right away next year...Do you not see we have a top 50 recruit and another recruit who would have been if he didn't blow out his knee his junior year...if it is like this next year and then the following then I say get rid of Trent....But how would you like to follow up a absolute moron and rebuild a program...Although I will admit I am rather disapointed in M White.

i think the most surpising thing is the shitty fundamentals. for a coach who supposedly does things by the book it looks like the players don't know how to properly block out, make stupid fouls, shitty passing leading to TOs, etc.
