I think there’s such a heavy mental aspect to playing QB that it’s much more important to redshirt them than most other positions. That’s why Jimbo always likes to have his QBs redshirt.

valid point... one I'm not taking into account.

I know under Miles we could have a QB practice for 4 years and he looked like he'd never been under center before in his life the first time he started.

There's an exception to that... when Etling came in the first time it was 4 passes in a row if I remember correctly; 1 of them a deep out and 1 across the middle. It was like Cam went nuts with a bright shiny new toy... until he was told to cut it out.

I'm going under the assumption, that I honestly hope is bad, that practice alone under CEO/Canada doesn't get it done, at least until I see evidence that something has changed.

Any of these could run it. Actually would be nice to have them on the field at the same time. Each of them is much more of a threat with the others on the field at the same time.

LN is a different problem though. He has missed his Junior and Senior year with knee problems. He may be a complete athlete and great, but he's basically a 10th grader experience wise. That's not a knock at all on him, just the truth regarding his experience. I think he's the perfect redshirt candidate. All of that based just on history and his experience level, not actual playing level. This extra year will be very good for him to miss.

Put Devin White back there.
I like that idea some since White was an elite running back, but it is a little dangerous bc he's so important to the defense.

It's sad that we don't run some wildcat. Everybody runs it against us, and it's a good wrinkle.
