Is there any OC who could make this offense work right now?

The lack of depth on the O line seems like a hurdle that is impossible to overcome this season. I dont even think Bill Walsh could get this offense rolling.

The Syracuse OC had a great plan. I was really impressed.

For all of the Canada bashers we have, I think we are forgetting how much bad blocking can ruin anything you have in mind.

Depth? Why is depth the hurdle?

We wanted Camerons head on a stake for doing what Ensminger did, now we celebrate Ensminger.

Shut out by Bama and shite the bed against Florida. We fired Miles to stop doing the exact same thing.

I think tweaking the offense to help mask the weakness on the offensive line could help....more shotgun makes sense. Quarterback can see the defense the whole time and not have to turn his back and he can catch the snap square himself up and throw without having to drop back. And obviously you can run from the shotgun as well with some zone read. LSU is known for power running but there's nothing powerful about our offensive line so change the approach.

Yea that lack of depth really killed LSU on the first drive vs SU, and the subsequent 4 right up to the only scoring drive of the half with about 3 min left.
Makes sense.

The one where we scored 10 points, yes I watched it. It was a fireworks show.

yes, and this is where great coaches REALLY earn their money. Take the talent you have, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and adapt your offense accordingly.

Put Etling in the shotgun, run a lot more quick passes, get the ball out fast. Spread the field more.

Agree. We were told since Canada arrived that he would play to the strengths of his personnel. Well, you've got a shite offensive line, but I've seen no attempts to overcome that. We've got big wideouts who don't seem afraid to go over the middle, throw some slants. Do anything to try and soften up the defense other than the PA bomb downfield.

We had a good offensive game in the florida game. We moved the ball on everyone except bama in those 8 games. I wish we were back to that instead of all the bullshite now. Guice and any other back will not have long runs in this offense.

put Lowell at QB, lose the shifting, and pound the rock.

While I don't think Narcisse is the fix-all, I half expected there to be some packages in Canada's offense for him. Especially on the goal line for example. I think that would be a nice wrinkle. Unless they've decided to try and redshirt him this season. Haven't seen anything official.
