Is the baseball team getting way better?

Serious question. Don't follow baseball that closely. Have we improved tremendously, or is the competition getting weaker?

What do you care if you don't support them?

Ranters are tards, you'll have to excuse some of them that will appear in this thread.
Yes, we have found our bats about the time we started playing some less than average teams. Our pitching has been better too. We look reminiscent of the beginning of the year Tigers.
Looking great!

We're getting back to our true selves. We sucked for a while, but that's not us.

The bats are coming around, our freshman pitchers have been nothing short of great lately. We hope to make the postseason this year and look for much, much better things to come in 2012. We will be loaded with pitching next year. If we can find a few big swingers to fill the voids, we could make a serious run next year.

This
Plus the "midseason implosion" included losses to top 10 teams. The team got down and dropped some other games in there as well. Beating up on weaklings now is getting their confidence back up. Baseball is a funny game and confidence is huge.

If the tigers can make it into the SEC tourney, I think we can make a serious run, never know what can happen!!

let's face it, half of the LSU's 12 wins have come against the absolute dregs of the SEC in the last few weeks (UK/Tenn).
That said, Tenn beat AU last night and UK took 2 of 3 from UGA last weekend, so maybe they are not the worst all-time.
What LSU needs is timely hits, imo. Certainly got plenty of those last night! Wish they would've saved a few of those runs for today.
I think if LSU wins today or tomorrow and takes this series 2/3, they comfortably get an NCAA at-large bid.

No it isn't. For less than $20/month you can see every game in the GeauxZone.

No, at 3-49 as of last night, that would be UNO, the team they beat Tuesday night.

talking about worst SEC of all time. I certainly thought Tenn was starting to qualify until they won last night.

We are getting better, but the competetion is much worse. The pitchers we're facing now have nothing on the guys from Fla, SC and Vandy or Baxendale for Ark. Makes a huge difference.
