I really don't follow the website SECCountry so I know little about him.
However, I have to say his early story on the "boycott" seems like a hatchet job of blown out of proportion reporting.

He is pretty spot on with most info. At least the little I have seen from him.

I would say so, going off of what he's written and said on the radio in the days leading up to signing day through the "boycott" BS.

Before the boycot story I thought he was going to be a up and comer but after that click bait article I'm leaning hack. He used that opportunity and went on every radio station possible he's trying to make a name for himself the wrong way

Was wondering the same. Appears to be a swing and a miss with the whole boycott deal.

Glad I'm not the only one... NSD was his first bust not the boycott. Lives off his views no matter if it's truth or not.

Only heard of this dude since his source-less article from a couple days ago came out. I may have read his stuff before but as of now he's 0-1 for me.

How is it source less info? Brice Brown was on ESPN Radio yesterday morning with Culotta and T-Bob talking about the NOLA hs coaches meeting was today. Sam was right in what he posted at the time. Now the boycott might have been wrong words but those coaches planned to talk about LSU treatment of Juluke. It might have calmed down some since then. But to call the report baseless is not accurate either.

He gave no source in his article. He didn't even give a vague source, such as "according to a coach in the NO area..."

It's shoddy journalism.

At the time you read the article yourself, you shouldn't have taken it seriously. He gave literally no indication of how he came about proclaiming a "new orleans boycott" or where he got his information from. Not even a hint. I'm not saying he ended up wrong, because if there was a meeting he was right in that regard. Still doesn't make it good journalism.

Seems to be more of a click whore lately. Even after it was proven that the meeting was not about a boycott he still wrote another article saying the schools were still contemplating it. Then he followed it up with an article about LSU not talking to the parkway QB. Seems he is looking for negative items to make news when it is not that busy of a news time for LSU football.

Sounds like it was blown out of proportion, hence my question.

Discussing their concern over the way it was handled in a long way from "boycott".
Maybe it wasn't baseless but it sure seemed to be sensationalized.

As I said, I don't follow him so know little about him. It's amazing how many reporters follow LSU recruiting, performance, operations. Why? Is there really that much demand for the same stories and analysis being reported?

All you need is a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or the like to be hired by a decent media group.

The article reads as if the purpose of the meeting was to discuss a LSU boycott and that's it. That's a far cry from N.O. coaches having a meeting and will discuss LSU's firing of Juluke among other things... bad way to generate clicks. Credibility down the drain.

Moscona has him on as a regular --- therefore, hack.... just like all the others (Fienswog, Russ Mitchell, et al)

Birds of a feather flock together!
