It makes it easier to respond if you give information about stats or quotes. Where did they come from? When? Who? If possible give a link.
Unless someone on here is a player, I doubt anyone knows if he is soft on penalties. BTW, I have never heard anything remotely like players saying Miles disrespected them.

Exactly. Also, does the OP really think the penalties called were excessive and therefore bad calls, or was the conduct "excessive" and therefore the penalties were warranted and unaddressed by Coach Mile ? The Rant rules.

Under Les, LSU has been penalized way too much and usually are self inflicted penalties.
As an ex coach I will tell you that Practice does not make Perfect, Perfect Practice makes Perfect.
It has been obvious to me for years that there is a lack of discipline during practice...this shows up in the games and could be greatly reduced.
Most of them are mental lapses.
Of the ones that refs call on us...that's a different story.
