You have to balance one with the other...defensive prowess v. offensive performance....one may not equal the other as long as the Tigers are winning don't mess with it!

IMO you don't touch Ross regardless of his BA. Jones on the other hand may be well served to sit a couple of games out before returning to the lineup with the mindset that his season begins now.

You don't mean to be negative? We would be way better. Probably 3 or 4 wins better.

Surprised there hasn't been a thread on this yet

Since there are usually two threads a day on the subject and it's hard to distinguish who is trolling and who is serious, maybe the admins should sticky a thread; how many times can this be discussed?

Well considering I don't live on this site, I did not know it had been discussed. Begging your forgiveness.

You'd be surprised how many sub .200 players are starting n the SEC

You should check the stats before making a statement like this.

Going into this weekend, out of the regular starters that have started at least 20 games, there were none.

But Ross and Jones were at .202 and .203. The lowest and second lowest in the SEC among regular starters.

Ross proceeded to go 0-10 this weekend while Jones went 1-12.

Both are now signficantly below .200

Between them they have the worst batting average for a regular starter in the SEC and the second worst average for a regular starter in the SEC.

It's a legit concern.

And it would be A1 on all of you assholes radar if it weren't for the fact that we have two of the top 15 weekend starters in the nation.

You jackasses do realize we have played ONE team that is worth a shite right?

Maybe we don't have anyone that is any better, but they can't be any worse.

Y'all need to back up, stop patting yourselves on the back, and realize this dude is making a legit point. I think there is a good point to be made that we have no one better, but his question has merit, and y'all piling on him is hubris at it's worst.
