For these men who transfer to to other schools. I mean, I would never wish ill will on anyone. But I see so many posters “wishing them the best”!

I don’t want Bech to be the best. I don’t want Howard to have best wishes. I want them both to get an education, and fail on the football field. I wish them 3rd stringerism for their college career. I wish for them to be successful insurance salesman with beautiful families.

But they quit LSU to go play for someone else. I don’t wish them the best. And I’m not sure why true Tiger fans do. Am I wrong?

I am curious why we keep posting the transfers decisions on the TD Home page like it is earthbreaking LSU news.

Yep. Super glad he did. He’s a great Tiger for life.

If I’m an OSU fan, I probably wouldn’t have been happy for him. But he’s a Tiger. Hence, my thread…

Depends. If you are Christian (fine if you're not), its the right thing to do. I wish that every person breathing could live their life the way they chose, and enjoy doing it

No it’s called being a competitor! If he plays for someone else you should want them to fail. You don’t always have to be “pro player” and “respecting their decision”. There’s nothing wrong with being an LSU fan. My mindset has always been if you’re not on my team why should I care if you’re good or not.

I hope they do well but often question the decision making. I don't think it made sense for Howard to leave but it's not my decision to make. I'm not going to hope he fails on the football field because I'm not a petulant child like you.

Joe wasn’t a red - shirt freshman who could have 3 years to start (after Daniels leaves) at his dream school. He was a graduate transfer who graduated from Ohio State and battled it out in the spring only to lose out to Haskins.

Leave this program, I hope you flop. I am a fan of LSU and those that represent LSU.

I have no problem wishing Beach the best. If Walker goes to a non SEC team, I will root for him to succeed wherever he's at. Should he transfer to a fellow SEC team, I will hate him forever.

I am a Christian. But I cannot find anywhere in scripture where I’m instructed to pull for those that quit LSU, on the football field. I wished them favor and well wishes for beautiful families and insurance sales. Isn’t that Christian like?

Am I going to hell for pulling for LSU when they play TCU? Because I will not be wishing Bech well. What about when TCU plays Bama. Does God want me to pull for Bech or Ricks?

Yes Burrow transferred, after he graduated not after his freshman year. We need to understand these kids don't play for school or fans.

A good human being would not wish for them to fail. He might be hugely disappointed they would leave. He might not follow their career at all once they do. They could slip from his mind as if they didn’t exist, but he wouldn’t wish them to fail. We should hope that all people reach their full potential - whatever that is.

But why? I’m not wishing them failure in life. Only on the football field.

Let me ask you, when you pull for a player on the opposing team to miss a field goal, or throw an interception, aren’t you doing the same thing? You’re wishing for another human being to fail. Why are you ok for doing that?
