Just look at him shitting the bed in overthrowing a wide open D Williams on that wheel route in the first half. It’s definitely DE.

Canada's passing plays take too long to develop. We need quick 3 step drop passes!!

yup. you do not have to have a great arm or release but you have to be accurate and read a D. we are not getting that

What you are seeing from Danny is what had him 3rd string at Purdue.

forgetting for one second about our OL and it's zone blocking scheme that leaves entire zones unassigned...

the two, playcalling and Etling, can't be separated. Canada is limiting his plays based on what he thinks DE's strengths and weaknesses are.

So when DE doesn't execute within the limited plays, Canada's trust drops even more and he will search for higher percentage plays.

For example, if DE is slow on quick outs Canada would likely opt for a jet sweep or a run on 3rd and 3. Which further reduces overall production when you go from what should be a 80% chance of success pass play to a 55% chance for 3 yards on a run play.

It's Etling. If the first read isn't there is going to be a bad play

It's play calling we scored 17 points in under 40 minutes of this game then all of the sudden we were back to what we've looked like the rest of the season. First half we were in the gun probly 40-45% of the time and that's where the offense has been at its best all year, we were in the gun for 3 or 4 plays the entire second half. We can't run a power run attack without a FB not with our oline our strength is our skill peor on offense and when O cuts canada off like he did in the second half we are terrible. If this continues we won't win many more games and if Florida had a pulse on offense wedve lost today.

Etling has his moments, but I think IMHO he gets rattled to easy. I would like to have seen MB in the game even for one series give him some SEC experience

I'll take Harris. When Etling struggles people blame the oline, but when Harris struggles he's a bad QB......SMH

Lol what? Etling never rushes his passes. He’s way too slow pulling the trigger which gets him in trouble.

I agree with getting Brennan a few snaps this year. If not LSU is going to have an inexperience QB behind center again.

He's trying to stay alive behind a mostly freshman line.

Etling was 9-12 for 120 yards 1 TD and no INTs after the first drive of the second half that's a very good pace vs a Florida D on the road. His final line was a result of Ogeron neutering Canada's offense.
