What do you think attracts recruits so much to LSU

The fact that our last 5 year have not been average in the sec and that in the last 5 years lsu is 2nd in the sec in wins. The fact that we have finished top 16 5 of the last 6 years.

We get elite wide receivers coming here because they believe they can be the next OBJ or Jarvis Landry,

We get elite wrs because they will learn how to be a wr in a prostyle offense. They learn prostyle route tree.they learn how to block which almost all young nfl wrs have to do.they learn how to beat press coverage. They learn the soft spots in zone. And something that isnt usually mentioned, our wrs go against future nfl cbs every day in practice.

Finishing in the top 16 doesn't really mean crap nowadays... LSU is LSU... The name has been out there. However after last November I am sure there are players that are saying, screw this I am not going to play fir a coach that can't seem to get by Arkie at home and get dominated the way they did.

Saban is obviously the best coach but he's also the best recruiter.

Saban isnt really some great x and o coach. We have seen Saban results when he had equal talent and its less than GOAT for sure.

Now I do agree with the fact that ANY LSU player goes against some of the best in the country in practice. I have been saying this for years. However. Any LSU WR's that come to LSU need a decent qb to get them the ball.

Shouldn't an "NFL Factory" produce playoffs and title?

Who in the cfb is doing this on the reg besides bama?

Yeah. Our recruiting classes are definitely showing that.

Yes it does. Finishing top 16 out of 126 while playing in the hardest division in the hardest conf means something. People that think its plauoffs or bust are just dumb. From 2009- 2013 only 4 programs were able to win 9 game every year and lsu was one of them. This notion that multiple prohram win 10 game every year is just false. In the last 5 years all of 1 program was able to win 10 games every year.

Because of his huge talent advantage. How was saban in the nfl when talent is somewhat even?
How was saban in 2010 when talent was equal?
How was saban in 2000,2001,2002, and 2004 when talent was equal.
Saban is the GOAT because of his recruiting. Not because he is some mastermind x and o coach.

I said saban wasn't a great x and o coach. Of course he is the GOAT cfb coach.

How is your love for saban so deep that you cant see that he is not an elite x and o coach? For god s sake he loses to an inferior team every single year and his talent dwarfs even lsu.

Because he plays in a division with the best recruiter of all time. Who are these sec west coaches that are winning all these sec west titles while saban is at bama? Hell during Saban's tenure at bama only miles has more than 1 sec west title.

The only unacceptable loss was arky. Ole miss had far more experience than us and so did bama.

Im not understanding why so many lsu fans act like losing to ole miss last year was this horrible loss. This isnt 2011 ole miss.

But you said INTHIS THREAD that Saban wasn't a very good x and o's coach. That's about the dumbest thing I have ever read on here. There is NO WAY a bad game coach achieve what Saban has.

I agree Ole miss was good last year. I don't agree that they had more talent than LSU though. It was a horrible loss by the way we got dominated. Sure, you keep saying we hit 508 yards but that was in catch up mode. Sorry but for as much talent LSU and miles keeps brining in , there is NO REASON to lose by that much to Ole Miss.

I said he wasnt a GREAT x and o coach. He isnt. He is just the GOAT recruiter. You have seen Saban teams without huge talent advantages and they are not great. How the hell can you not see this? How were his loaded lsu teams? 2000,2001,2002,2004, his Miami Dolphin teams. His 2010 bama team.
We all agreee Saban is the best recruiter ever, right? Well if he was an elite x and o coach along woth being the best recruiter ever, he would never lose and yet he loses to inferior teams every year. I never saod he wasnt a good x and o coach. I said he wasnt great and his career has proven that.

More experience.
They had better wr( Treadwell) and better qb. Their offense and defense had far more experience than ours.

Alabamas talent doesn't dwarf lsu's, get real. We have been lacking in qb execution, period. You can't be one dimensional against bama or you will lose. That has been our problem lately...not talent differential.
