You can't win the division without beating Bama. He lost 5 in a row and refused to fix the offense. That's what did him in.
More horse shite.
Losing 5 straight to Bama, and Les would STILL be here if he won the games against teams not named Bama, even if he did it 3 yards at a time on toss dives. You are delusional if you think it was anything but the record, specifically the losing to teams he had no business losing to, that got Les fired.
Ironically, that pattern continued in last year's UF game.

Bama is at the top of that list, Stooge.
Posted on 7/22/17 at 9:28 pm to Bayou
So you think if Les had beaten Bama a few more times but still gone 8-4 in those seasons he wouldn't have been fired?
You're out of your mind.
You're out of your mind.

Some wanted to keep Les Miles - RichMomma
Pretty sure he's been on record at least 1,000,000 times saying it was time for Miles to go. Whatever helps your arguments I guess

Some wanted the gay guy that kisses his players
You get pretty good cell reception as deep in the closet as you are?
quote:
Now they are pissed and throwing temper tantrums in every thread because the loveable loser (recently) and gay guy are not at LSU.
You might want to take a step back and try to recognize who is actually throwing a tantrum here. People have rational apprehensions about Orgeron and you just can't deal with it. Everyone here simply wants what is best for their team. (ETA: or what they believe to be best for their team) That's the bottom line

HOLY shite. ED OREGON WOULDN'T BE A TOP 5 DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR CANDIDATE
Who the frick cares. He IS the head coach at LSU. Why are you so obsessed with the gay guy and what jobs Coach O hasn't held? There is no point to it. He is the head coach at LSU. I'm sure he's happy with where he is at and doesn't mind not being a DC. My opinion anyway.
quote:
every other sec program knows tbat the only time ed orgeron was allowed to run a program it culminated in the worst tenure ever at a program full of shite tenures.
Well good, I hope they are all out celebrating the hire and not watching film trying to figure out how to score against Aranda and how to slow Canada's offense down. Coach O is bringing Aranda and Canada on every away game and they will be in Tiger Stadium when teams visit. Does every other SEC program know that? That's what they need to be thinking about and not historical data on Coach O's coaching career.

shite I was going to use an icon thing for the first time ever but they don't have a kissing or smooches one. shite, can't give you a kiss from your gay hero.
quote:
again giving a dline coach the credit when the offense looks good
frick, you say the same shite over and over and over and over. Damn man, quit wasting time and board space.
quote:
yes they are and so would you if it were anyone other than Ed Orgeron
Arkansas is not laughing at LSU and Ed Orgeron. 38-10 with a TE's coach running the offense prevents that. Hiring the only offensive Broyles Award finalist as the new OC damn sure doesn't have them laughing.
"And so would I if it were anyone other than Ed Orgeron." - What the hell does this even mean? Should it say "if it was" and not "if it were anyone other than".
quote:
we blasted a&m for takimg Chief and he is one of the most accomplished dc in can.
Chavis finished with the 93rd best defense in the country this year. LSU scored over 50 points on Chavis with a TE's coach running the offense. We can still blast A&M for taking Chavis. A&M cannot blast or laugh at LSU for hiring Coach O since he went to College Station with a TE's coach and kicked their arse.
quote:
Ed Orgeron has never in his life proven he can run a successful defense let alone a program
He's done a pretty damn good job at LSU.
quote:
you think other programs arent laughing at lsu?
No, I don't think other programs are laughing at LSU. Not about the head coach anyway. Shitty, pessimistic, emotional, crying fans, YES - the head coach - NO.

If Les won 10+ games every season after 2011 even with that bore-arse offense, he'd damn sure still be here.
That's the problem. With his "bore-arse"?? offense he could not win 10+ games per season. That's why LSU has not finished in the top 10 since the 2011 season.

Now tell me why Syracuse passed on him ?
I bet about right now they wish they hadn't passed.
The LSU head coach just hired the OC who hung 76 points on them last November. 76 freaking points.

quote:Except for those two Assoc Head Coach positions. I would say recruiting coordinator (4 times) counts too. Oh, and those two interim HC positions.
face facts. the only people that think Ed Orgeron is an acceptable hire are football ignorant lsu fans and our clown AD.
for 29 of his 32 year career no ad has thought enough of his coaching to give him a job above position coach.
Those are titles/positions/duties above and beyond position coach.

I agree with you. But with his expected better offense, if Orgeron still can't exceed Les' performance in wins, it won't matter. He still won't be any better than Les. You said yourself LSU beat UF all over the field...but they lost the game. That's what counts.

but if it doesn't, your arse is gonna be rightfully crucified.
For questioning idiots that are crying and crucifying the LSU head coach before he coaches his second game as permanent head coach? I'm game.

You are unbelievably delusional.
Opening up the offense would have offset a 2 point loss to Wisconsin and a 5 point loss to Auburn. Even your normal Rantard idiot should be able to realize that.

You are failing to distinguish "crucifying the HC" from being skeptical about the hire.
I personally love O. I love his energy, passion, persona, and commitment. I don't question those things.
That love doesn't blind me from logically seeing that LSU refusing to pay Jimbo the 7+ mil/year he countered with meant they weren't going to pony up an "elite coach salary." Logically that also means they weren't going to get an elite coach. It's not a hatred or disdain for Orgeron.

What are these rational apprehensions again? What he did 10 years ago at Ole Miss?
If people paid attention to college football the last four seasons and seen what has happened at USC and LSU and the changes Coach O has made at LSU they may have their ridiculous apprehensions about ancient history relieved a little. Hey, if they want to cry about shite from 10 years ago, I'm all for it. It would be boring around here if it wasn't for the catastrophe syndrome. I enjoy it or I wouldn't be here.

You say this right after you try to explain your butt-buddy's posts to me? Don't mention me and the kissing-bandit, RichMomma will totally freak more than he already does when he thinks about him.

quote:He wa the only OC that was a finalist for the Broyles award last year champ. He's also the only offensive coach the country that beat the national champions last year.
Pump the breaks there, champ. Canada is a good offensive mind, could be a great one, but he has proved nothing at the top level yet.
If he's not the best OC in the country- name one better.
