I have always lived in Louisiana and been crazy about LSU sports. When I was accepted to LSU it was the happiest day of my life to date. I ended up going to ULM to stay closer to my family and girlfriend at the time. I watch every LSU football, baseball, and basketball game; but sometimes I feel like a fake fan since I didn’t go to school at LSU.

I'm an alum and I welcome all fans so long as they can throw a respectable piss balloon.

I’m from Mississippi and a huge LSU fan. My dad and grandfather were from Louisiana moved to Mississippi (father was young) and that’s how I got here. Thank God for WWL

I'm sure the assholes in red to our west would have something to say about that.

That's why they are "the assholes to our west"

Of course it is. I never hear people calling out ND fans that never went to ND.

I've never lived in Louisiana, and I'm a huge fan. My dad is an alumni of LSU and brainwashed me from early on. haha.

Gotta be an LSU fan. It's ok to be a ULM fan too if you want. I remember in Lafayette there's some ragin cajun fans that hate LSU. That's a shame.

ULM left a bad taste in my mouth. I enjoy watching them lose. They do it well.

IMO, someone that is born in Louisiana and has been a LSU since birth, but did not attend LSU is a bigger and more legit fan than someone that comes to LSU from out of state and becomes a LSU fan at the age of 18.

Hell yes it's acceptable, and you shouldn't have to ask. I'm from south Louisiana, Father is alum, but I went to college in Colorado. I currently live in Austin, Tx and always showing my support!

I beat myself up for years over not just going to LSU. Married with a baby girl now though so it’s all good. I just love LSU.

You're a bitch. I'm one of those "assholes in red" and I've loved LSU since I was a kid. I also love ULL (Wish it were still USL.) It's a dangerous game to pretend that everyone to your west is an a-hole that loves a different college, because you'd be quite surprised how many of us like both.

I should add, before everyone rails on me for not attending LSU, that I used to regret it. Fortunately, I met my wife (no pics) and had my college entirely paid for by my parents, which was the compromise for me staying home and not heading to BR.

Of course.

I got both of my degrees from LSU (6 years of student tickets ), and it was the only school I applied to for undergrad (TOPS). My dad has been an LSU fan for 60+ years but he went to Tech.

I don’t get your bad feelings for ULM. That is the most pro LSU university of the other colleges in Louisiana. You see almost zero of the LSU envy that large sections of ULL and Tech fans are ate up with. Very laid back people
