Hannigriff is the ONLY local host that fans want to hear his opinion after the game. No one says, "what does TK say about the game? What does Ponamsky say about the game? What does Moscona say about the game? What does Hultberg say about the game?" Everyone wants to hear Hannigriff's take. I think that says it all.

Hannagriff was never a serious candidate. I hope he understood that. That position is simply waaaaaay out of his league.

Hannagriff has had a pretty bad last couple of years. He was way off on the Kevin Steel hire...said he knew the hire, but couldn't say and that people would be disappointed. It later came out that the name being floated was Kirby Smart. He basically either was caught in a lie...or changed his story half way through. Then, of course, none of it was accurate as LSU hired Steele.

Last year, he claimed to know Cameron was gone. Then yet again, he backed off his story and pretended he didn't say what he said. And, of course, he was wrong.

I actually like Hannagriff. But, I've noticed a move from a logical, well thought through perspective to a very emotional perspective. It hasn't been good for him professionally, IMO.
