Is DD Breaux the GOAT LSU Coach...any sport?

After reading her LHOF induction article, DD is an amazing person, mentor, and coach. 40 years at the same school is almost unheard of unless your name is Joe Paterno. Some may say No because she has yet to win a NC in he sport. I say, look where she started...with no support, no budget, no facilities, no staff. A lesser person would have given up by year 2-3. I'm not even a gymnastics fan, but have to admire that woman.

this one guy..he won 5 championships. he was ok too.

Amazing but not GOAT. I would say Skip Bertman because I am not into track.

Fair enough. And agree...perhaps 2nd best to Skip. I put here ahead of all 3 of our Football coaches who have A NC because of her longevity of excellence.

I don't think it's fair to compare.

The football, basketball and baseball coach have a much shorter leash.


I'm not saying she's not great. But the coaches of the other sports get fired after 1 bad season.
