I agree that the problem is above Miles & Crowton...the problem is at the top.

When GC had a QB, offense was fine, he needs a QB to fit his system, and he doesn't have that.

He didn't run his offense in 2007.

2008 and 2009 are Gary Crowton's offense.

Miles is to Miles what Tepper was to Dinardo. Try that.

I would love to know what opposing coaches who break down LSU game film think about the offense.

I would kill to sit in on that gameplanning.

I wish you were right, but I disagree. The powers that be, at LSU, are content with 4 loss seasons.

I was talking about this to a friend last week. I don't see how there is really that much to gameplan for.

Miles will be given the opportunity to throw Crowton under the bus after this year, and he will do it. So in that sense, he won't be like Tepper.

If Crowton is the problem, why wait for next year. Turn over the calling of plays to another coach(himself, Gonzales, Ensminger), why wait for next year.

I remember well when LSU fielded those Lou Tepper defenses. LSU was highly touted then, with some of the most highly regarded talent in the nation.

You got the sense that the coaches considered LSU a laughing stock.

Kind of feels similar to that these days.

I think it's "JJ is to Miles as Tepper was to Dinardo." It just seems that Miles is very stubborn when it comes to replacing JJ.
