I say yes, Arky has always had that little brother syndrome with LSU, always wanting there to be a rivalry, its always a MASSiVE game for them, but honestly this game isn't exactly a game that LSU circles on the calendar.

It seems like aTm is just more of a natural fit for a rival than Arky.

What say you?

Yes. aTm is already a more natural rival and the rivalry will only grow from here. Arky needs to work on hating Mizzou more because that's where things are heading.

They are already more of a rival than Arky ever was, but that is not saying much.

Considering it was in the past, I think it's great as a last game. Maybe they'll win a game sometime.

Exactly what I was going to post. The only rivalry between LSU and atm is recruiting.

Arky is just a very young rivalry. Only 24 years of playing eachother every year.

It has the potential to grow, but you gotta realize that most rivalries in this conference are damn near 100 years old

aTm has Texas. No rivalry.

Just bad blood over off the field stuff. (Scheduling, Chavis, etc.)

The rilvary extends past football guys. They beat us in basketball this year, and they have beaten us in baseball as well. And I cant stand those frickers anyway, I really do hate them worse than Arky, and I hate Arky.

A&M has always been a rival.

It was just put on hold for a little bit.

How can anyone say its not a rivalry? It was a rivalry long before Arkansas was even in the picture. Do people forget we used to play A&M every year 86-95? We have played them 53 times. What was the last OOC opponent we played 10 seasons in a row? The Tulane series ended one year before the A&M series.

People can be in denial all they want, but like it or not, TAMU is definitely going to be our most heated rivalry in the near future. We hate each other. They are the gay cult, we're the swamp trash. Close proximity, recruiting the same territory, Chavis, scheduling issues, shared industries, the past rivalry, we canceled the previous series, we owned JFF, etc.

Yes,

Arkansas and Texas A&M were both members of the Southwest conference. They have more history and fit in naturally to be rivals. They are a bigger rivalry.
