I am always excited to watch LSU play, even the cupcake games and when they aren't looking so good like this year. I can remember when just having a winning season and going to the Liberty or Bluebonnet bowl was considered a success. We have been so spoiled the last 12 or so years, can't complain too much when we have a down year. Just so long as it isn't a long, drawn out down period.

So, yeah I am excited. Always have been, always will be.

Not excited, but I'm still watching every game - hoping without reason for signs of improvement and growth. Expecting the worst, but will happily be wrong if they turn it around.

I'm hoping to see enough improvement to be competitive at the tail end of the season, against Arky and A&M. Doing this, first and foremost, requires immediate improvement of our QBs … and I'm not so sure they can do this. Anyway, that's what I'm hoping for from this point on.

Brandon Harris finds his rhythm this weekend and the Dline starts getting penetration. We win out and make it to a new years day bowl.

Next question.

No. I thought after looking bad against Wisc. and much, much worse against MSU, that the defense would make a few adjustments to try to at least slow down the AU running game. They didn't

Also, I thought that starting Harris would at least force LSU to open up the offense just a bit because Harris (as a true Freshman) seemed to be more comfortable out of a shotgun/spread approach. It didn't.

What you saw against MSU and AU is what you're going to see the rest of the way. There are no changes coming to the gameplans. There are no adjustments to be made. For better or worse, this is it.

Based on the last two SEC games, I see three azzkickings left on the schedule. FLA, Kentucky and R-Kansas are games in which we can compete. Win 2 out of those three and we are bowl eligible. The extra bowl game practice will do the team a lot of good headed into spring practice.

We are not winning 3 games with Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, and A&M left on our schedule. We would be lucky to win 2.

We lose to the #2 and #3 teams in the nation and now all of a sudden we aren't good to beat a terrible florida team, and alright kentucky team at home, and an Arkansas team that has still yet to win an SEC game in 2 years?

I'm excited that I get to spend several more Fall afternoons and evenings with lifelong friends from Louisiana watching LSU play, eating good food, drinking beer, laughing, carrying on, letting all of our kids play together. In the end, that's all that really matters.

I would prefer that the team be dominant (or at least competitive,) but that's not a requirement for me, and I certainly don't consider it a birthright.

Different people get different things out of LSU football. I get a feeling of comraderie and a damn good time, win or lose.

You are a casual football fan then and there is nothing wrong with it.

You can't watch a game like Sat night and not go crazy watching all the bone headed calls/ no calls/lack of preparation/etc....

Don't get me wrong--we were screaming bloody murder at the TV on Saturday night. But after the game was over and we were done venting about how bad it sucked, we still managed to have a pretty good time.

I guess I have become a more casual fan in my old(er) age. There was a time when I would still be livid about a loss like this, but you gotta find the silver lining. LSU is about more than wins and losses to me; it's a connection to old friends and my Louisiana roots.

I'm excited for

Harris (to keep growing and hit 2000 total yards 20 TDs if they allow him)
Fournette (to keep growing and hit 1000 total yards 10 TDs if they allow him)
Dural (to hit 1000)
Dupre (to hit 7 TDs)
Diarse (to keep improving and beast out on the field some more)
Quinn (to get in the end zone multiple times)
Smith (to catch some got damn passes and to be put on the field in the slot and near the boundary. I really want him to become a weapon for us)
Beckwith (to keep improving and be a starter)
Adams (to be a starter and keep improving)
Robinson/White (bring back the freshman magic)
Garrett (really want to get him on the field even if only OLB)
Bain/Herron (to step it up and see some play time early in games)
Gilmore (want to see him in games that are actually a challenge)
Valentine (to get him cleared and able to play at least some this year)
Battle (really want to see him playing)
Chark (at PR and KR to get Fournette more snaps at RB)
