Is anyone else tired of Orgeron talking about gumbo in every major interview?

I almost fell out of my seat when he just interviewed with Tim Fletcher last week, talking about "his mamma's chicken 'n sausage gumbo sha!"

I watched this SECN segment on coaches recruiting and eating "momma's cooking" when low and behold Ed extra slaw Orgeron is just ranting and raving about how he got to eat 19 different gumbos on the recruiting trail (seriously? wtf? no, you did not.)

any fluff piece on yaw is 100% going to talk about gumbo. fact. or his mom's gumbo. fact.

seriously just stfu about gumbo already. hiring you and running off a brilliant OC is terrible enough

Rather him talk about gumbo than football. At least with gumbo he kinda knows what’s going on.

You must have never had a really good gumbo, sha. You’d tell everyone about it.

He knows that it's all that matters to the simpleton sect of our fanbase, so he'll keep trotting out the GOOD OLE BAW CAJUN lines.

FTR I don't doubt that he or his mother could cook a mean gumbo.

He uses it as a distraction method for the low IQ Facebook moms

He could basically say anything in between talking about gumbos and 70 percent of the fanbase will make him out to be a "local hero" because he talks like their drunk uncle from the sticks

Well at least he's putting LSU back on the map. Maybe this is a recruiting strategy.

Yep. The whole “look at me, I’m Cajun” shtick is getting old REAL fast and seems like O is banking too hard on the fact that he’s “one of us.”

The only people that still go back to the gumbo/Cajun stuff are the people that dislike Orgeron.

What I absolutely hate is how he concludes every interview with “Go Tigers” and then smiles like jethro Bodine. He looks like such a dum arse every time he does that crap.
