Is anyone concerned about our Defense?

Not being negative, enjoying our win, but does anyone think our Defense resembled the one that played against Bama and Clemson last year? Sure they lost key players, but they seemed gassed in last night's game. And as a recovering negatiger, I just wanted to say I enjoyed the offense for the first time in years!

It'll be a work in progress. First thing they had to do was play a quality opponent. Now we can see what needs to be fixed

LBs were the only group that looked at all alarming, and they were without Jones. The Chief will make it right; I'm not worried.

TCU is a good team. The kickoff return and Blue fumble gave them 14 pts. Last night will be TCU's lowest total yards for the year.

First game get over it! We lost a shite load of players on defense; give them a few weeks. Welter is not good at all but what do I know, I just post on this board

Way more concerned about our STs. KO TD was a break down in lane assignments. Lots of new faces on STs and no more Reid and Landry (it would seem) who seemed to be involved a lot last yr.

LOL. No. We gave up a kick return for a TD and gave them the ball on the 4. They had one other TD all night. They forced turnovers as well. Not concerned in the least.

Nope, Chavis will coach them up. Look at his track record. They'll make adjustments. This game was just a few plays away from being a blowout.

Yes. LB's looked a bit slow IMO.

Select players looked good, just some slow ones are going to bring us down. I expect everything to get fixed

They didn't look great but it was a first start for many of them. We've got three games before Georgia and I would imagine the defense looks much better by then. I will I don't expect then to be quite as gold as they have been but then again if they can find someone who can the ball over like TM7.......

A little concerned about our ends but they were ok. Welter needs to play less. Our secondary is going to be outstanding. I thought Micah Eugene had a great game last night. In the end, we gave up less than 300 yards to a ranked team in the first game. Take out the kick return and the fumble on the 5 and the D gave up 13 points.

We held them under 300 yards and they struggled to sustain drives. I don't know what else you people want.

I agree with this, I think we are solid defensively, and will only get better, In the Chief I trust !

1st game, no amount of conditioning can actually simulate that.

No. I think everyone has been spoiled by the past few years. We won't be all world like we have been but our offense will more than make up for it.
