Face it. Ben just isn't as good as all the hype.

Totally agree......he's good.....just not as "great" as ESPN would have you believe......there are some weaknesses in his game.......

Well you give Simmons a competent point guard that can make an entry pass into the post and you have a dominating player.

He works his arse off for position, seals his man, makes himself available and the incompetence of the guards to enter the pass is horrible.

CJJ has been here 4 years and there's NO excuse not to have a competent point guard to run the show.

know more than you buddy.

You clearly dont if you think Simmons hasnt lived up to the hype.

He has zero jumper and his defense is suspect.

He is a 6'10 player that can take people off the dribble and finish with either hand. 3rd in ppg,3rd in assists per game,1st in rebounds per game,2nd in steals per game. Go ahead and continue to look ignorant about basketball just like your football analysis.

There is more to the game than just stats.

The only people that say this are the people without facts on their side. Of course you want to use something immeasurable to back up your arguments

Someone putting up his stats should be dominating games. But he isn't.

Are you being serious? Being 3rd in points,3rd in assists,2nd in steals and 1st in rebounds is dominating. He isnt a scoring machine. Being top 4 in points, rebounds , assists ,and steals is fricking unheard of.

thank you. I've been saying this but nobody wants to hear it. His an incredible player. But he has a lot of improving to do to be where he wants to be.

This can be said of any player in any sport. Its not some revelation that a 19 year old kid has some improving to do. Good god. Also ,stats are production. This immeasurable shite you and Peej are talking about is some bullshite that people use when they dont have facts.

This can be said of every player in every sport on the planet. He is a 6'10 player with handles and the ability to facilitate. He can go left or right and finish with either hand. He can also play with his back to the basket.

BUT OF course he is raw. He is 19. No player is complete at 19. Lebron had no jump shot when he entered the league. Hell Magic Johnson never really developed a shot from 3.
