Is Ben a product of his press or being under coached?

I think there are easily 10 coaches that could have developed Ben. JJ develops talent like Les develops QBs--

When Ben is a perennial all star in the league, you'll still be making dumb statements. Jones is that bad

Ben Simmons: 22 double-doubles this season, most among major conference players.

Coaching. He can only do so much with his high school coached level. But he has still be great.

He has nobody equal to his talent to play with which has lead him to not try his hardest and/or give a shite 100% of the time. This team plays zero team ball and that is exactly Simmons' strength.

This should all but secure this kid a Hall of Fame career.

Ben's stats are amazing but how many games has he taken over this year? Almost none. And when we need him the most he disappears more often than not. Outstanding player but not a game changer like we needed.

It will take Ben years to even get to an all star game.

Developed? There isnt much development that happens in 6 months. We have the most uneducated sports fans on the planet. Im not a Johnny Jones fan but come on. Development of a a 1 and done player while having huge practice restrictions is fricking insane

We are about to enter a 3 month period where every NBA analyst, when discussing Simmons, is going to explain in detail just how bad a Jones is as a coach. An inadvertant 3 month publicity tour of why no great player should ever play for Jones.

Ben's got a 50-50 chance of being an All Star, but it's far from a lock. guys like Rashid Wallace, didn't play point forward on fast breaks, but you knew he was NBA type deadly shooters on the turn and shoot moves

You really dont know much about basketball, do you.

Simmons is putting up stats that have never been done. He most certainly lived up to the hype. Only a dumbass would say he didnt.

If Ben ever makes an all-star game, its at least 4yrs away.

The team is under manned. There is not enough support with the bench to help this team win.

I know more than you buddy. There is more to the game than just stats. Ben got outplayed huge today. He has zero jumper and his defense is suspect. He has taken too much time off during games. If you can't see that then I can't help you.

he didn't live up to the hype. But to be fair his hype was out of control. Someone putting up his stats should be dominating games. But he isn't. He almost seems to get lost at times during the game.
