No one UNLESS you want payback, TOTAL humiliation of their team, no kneeling in the last 2 minutes, load them up and send them home for good - never to want to see us again

or they could kneel for 4 consecutive plays and turn the ball over like at Ole Miss.

If we win, I wonder if iowa has rantards like us? They will probably come out of the woodwork, and say that the bowl game did not mean a thing anyway.

Iowa plays respectable to football.

but from a National Powerhouse or tradition standpoint, they just don't' have much appeal from that standpoint..

so from LSU's perspective, we don't' gain anything by beating them...whereas a team like Clemson gained a lot of confidence beating LSU last year in a miracle 4th Qtr drive.

Yes fans are fans, but if we're going to be objective about it, we have to look at post season results.. relative to national and local perception.

LSU has played for the National title 3 times in the last 10 years...

And Iowa has won 1 Big 10 conference title the last 10 years...their best record was 11-2 under Kirk in 2002.. Miles has led LSU to 11 or more victories 4 times in 9 seasons... In the toughest conference/Division in college football...

Case closed!

Your fans' showing in 2005 was quite impressive, BTW. Does your fanbase normally travel that well during bowl season?

Iowa is considered one of the most attractive teams teams for bowls because they travel so well.....most years. Others in that class include Nebraska and Wisconsin. UM, OSU and PSU have fans all overthe place so they show up in large numbers too.

Iowa has 4 top 10 finishes in Fertenz's era. following the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2009 seasons. I think they finished #8 in each of those years.

This year has been dubed Ferentz 3.0 As he rebuilt the team prior to 2001, 2008 and now again.

Iowa does not usually get as many eletie athletes. They have to bring them in, red shirt them and develop them. Keeping the pipleline reasonably full is hard so we see ups and downs in the win totals.

Interesting seasons, both teams only lost to pretty good teams this year.

Iowa plays a base defense that doesn't change but they make you earn everything.

I'd think LSU wears them down in the 4th, but that's just my initial thoughts

For such a run oriented team, their fans sure seen to have no opinion on our running game, which will probably make up 70 percent of our offense on Jan. 1.

That will be the difference. Mark it down.

That was embarrassing. I was shocked at how many more of them there were.

Yep. We had to walk through a sea of those dorks to get back to our car and even the bitches were talking mad shite to us. Then Saban went and pulled his whore act. Frick me.
