Having fun? I think this guys idea of fun is probably vastly different than what we consider fun. He probably enjoys opera, oil on canvass, and bubble baths. He's just a weirdo, at least that's how he came off in his interview. A bag of dicks may be funner than bauer

He's a wierdo because he keeps his mind on the game & doesn't get overdramatic like many players? Our guys couldn't beat him so you have to take shots at(what you might think is) his personality. I'd rather win with a team full of players that keep their mind on the task at hand rather than lose with a bunch that hoots, hollers, & jumps around like a bunch of circus monkeys.

He'd play fricking catch with the shortstop for 2 minutes after his warmup. But like I said, he owned us...dude was sick.

Interview with Bauer
That guy sounds like he is the life of the party. He pitched a hell of a game though.

My first thought when I saw it was this. As crazy as it sounds beings how UCLA is located in mass media heaven. This may have been the first or one of the first times he ever did a live TV interview. UCLA baseball gets zero media attention while LSU baseball is constantly in the spotlight.

I heard that was Jack Bauer son. If that's the case him pitching isn't even fair

You're an idiot. I said "since the guy beat the defending college world series champions he can do whatever he wants."

But what I said is just taking shots at his personality since we couldn't beat him. He was an arse hole in his interview. He was. That's all I said. Nothing about what he did in the game even bothered me

I believe he was focused on the job at hand. I would have bunted more and try to get him out of rhythm.

Honestly, if I was his age, could pitch like that, and was on the verge of being a multimillionaire,I would probably be a bigger arse than Bauer.

But his antics in between innings were for the birds

how about after the 6th already being down 4-0, and given up 2 homeruns, ranaudo strikes out the guy for the 3rd out and stares him and the ucla dugout down as he was running back to the dugout. if i were bauer, i would have been acting the same way. nothing wrong with being confident and showing some emotion, but there is a time for it. it was bauer's time, not ranaudo's.

You guys have odd definitions of being an "arse" I mean, enjoying baseball so much that he was playing catch between innings? Seriously?

What did you want him to say in the post game comments?

Very original typical tigerdroppings response.

Why take a shot at the guys personality?
That's like automatically labeling a guy as jerk because he's with a better looking girl than you. I'm sure you've never done anything like that before huh?
How was he an a-hole in the interview? Was it because he wasn't overcome with joy or shock at beating your beloved team. Perhaps he went into the game expecting to shut LSU down and last night seemed like a normal night of work. The guy answered the questions professionally and was to the point.
Didn't see him take any shots or act arrogant at all. You just got your feelings hurt because for eight innings, he baffled our hitters and rendered their bats ineffective. You couldn't say our team beat him so you did the only thing you could do, make an unjustified attack on the kid's character.

He needs to learn humility. That is all. Gracious in victory and defeat. He just acted like a pompous arse. My opinion only
