I don't think the absence over the spring will hurt key unless some bad press comes out. If he gets double digit sacks this year, he'll be a top 10 pick.

Key is a better player than Garrett, so it's not that surprising.
There's just 2-3 stud QBs coming out of next year's draft, so he probably doesn't have much of a chance to go #1.

Key has the possibility to go #1 overall if he has the year I hope he does.

Key's last few months are definitely gonna be an issue. At the very least he's gonna have to answer a ton of questions. Hopefully he plays well enough and answers well enough to go top 5.

Dupree, Dural, and Godchaux were projected 1st rounders at this point last year by some.

True. Hopefully scheme change w/ Canada will bring out the best in the offensive players & they take hold of this good press to shine
If Tolliver II can stay consistent next season, teams would love to grab a 6'2 CB in the first rd. Guice has nowhere to go but up as well when he keeps grinding

If I was Cleveland, I would have taken a defense heavy draft this knowing I still have shite QBs, tank next year and get #1 again, and then take the USC QB. He looks like a franchise QB.

Key is top 3 without a doubt. Kid is a monster. Guice will be top 10. Maybe even top 5.

And so did Leinart. And Sanchez. And Barkley. And that's just USC. None of the college QBs have gone through the intense scrutiny they will have to before next year's draft. If they have flaws, they will be exposed. Plus, Cleveland has drafted well enough to not tank next year. It's a great idea for fans-- or even ownership at times--but the dudes who's livelihoods depend on how well they play(I.e. the players and coaches) aren't gonna be too cool with tanking to put themselves in a position to draft a snot-nosed 21-year-old who may turn out to be Tim Couch.
