My only thing is he's agree that the kid is better but why in the hell didn't the kid not play down the stretch?

Rohan Davey in his first start against Auburn in 1999 was 4 of 11 for 31 yards and 2 INT.

Sounds good, but Les has been proven to be "deceptively honest." Whatever that means. He said that BH would play in damn near every game this past season. I'll wait to see it with my own eyes. I am cautiously optimistic.

The only thing I could see is that he made a determination that the light had really not come on for Harris and he was afraid that continuing to throw him out against top SEC teams "down the stretch" could have really harmed his development for the future. (I think Jennings may have been irreparably impacted by this past year). Kind of like what happened in 08 when both Jefferson and Lee were kind of ruined for the rest of their careers.

That's just my best guess though.

He wants to make sure the fans have something to talk about on these boards.

I don't think we know the whole story on why Brandon Harris didn't play more. I was told something by a family member of a player that surprised me and gave a valid reason for him not getting more playing time if true. All I can say is...

I was told by a players family that he really didn't know the playbook and was struggling hard with pre snap reads and was just winging shite to the point he was actually making plays up. Weather that is true or not I dunno but the source seemed pretty reliable and made sense of why they took the keys away from him the rest of the season.

Problem is those stats were fairly regular for Jennings throughout the games that he played.
Harris should have gotten more Playing time against KY, Ark, etc but what is done is done.

Les constantly said that Jarret Lee would be in an open competition for a starting role too. The only time JJ got benched was when Hillar Moore benched him-Les wouldn't have. And gee, JL was the leading passer in the SEC until JJ was released and immediately supplanted him. So excuse me if this song sounds familiar

The Misery will only continue if he continues to play Jennings who is slower, and has weaker arm

The key is to get Harris comfortable with a little bit of swag...and then I think it's on!!
