Wait...so now LSU's defense in 6 times inferior to Alabama?

Yep, since that's what I said.

Which shows that first down differential doesn't = team success, since obviously LSU is tier 1 in winning percentage.

80% in tier one have twice as many as the average
20% in tier one has the average

4 to 1 ratio.

You've failed.

Page 3 and I can't believe a pumper hasn't thrown out one of their classic stock replies such as:

Which would you rather have...more first downs or wins?

They really aren't. Miles lovers would have us stumble and bumble our way to 10 win seasons literally from here to eternity. As long as they can look back at a season and say the record was good, it doesn't matter whether or not the games were enjoyable or whether the team seemed to have their shite together.

So that's one main reason Alabama's first down differential is so much better.

Maybe their offense is more effective than LSU's

at the end of the day, the wins are all that matters. I wouldn't give a damn if we punted every first down and beat everyone 7-0 via a punt return or defensive touchdown, as long as we win.

That's pretty much what we have been doing the past few years.

Problem is, and I know the pumpers can't see this or simply don't care, you can't win the big one like this.

I've decided that they don't care about winning it all or simply love Les more than they love LSU.

Whatever...remember the 90s when we sucked?

Did you play football? I think former players are more likely to just be happy with the wins b/c they know how tough it is. I'm selfish about this, though. I want to see a different style of football, b/c it's just not that fun to watch LSU barely scrape by when it seems they could do what Alabama has been doing.

7th plays defense. If he played offense he would rather see a better offense

Les Miles has won a lot, no doubt, but people are crazy if they don't think he could have won even more by producing an offense capable of moving the ball on its own. LSU lost 3 games this year, and two of them unquestionably would have been won with just a little bit more offense.

What a horseshite response!

The 90's were the 90's. The bar has been raised. You want to compare your program to it's lowest point? LOSER
