the fact that CLM is even using offensive passing terminalogy is making me shite my pants. When we see offensive numbers better than '06 this year, what will the negatigers have to say?

the hero worship by tiger fans and the "Mettsiah" bullshite really bothers me. That's single handedly one of the worst nicknames I can ever remember hearing in sports (Breesus) takes a close 2nd. He's a college player with NO starts (and no stats), to even back up that kind of a name. I wish people would pump the brakes a little.

Agreed. They were loving JJ after the Peach Bowl Let's see how he does in some SEC games before we get too excited.
In all honesty,I think he will be pretty good.I was never impressed with JJ.

Fans just need to realize, if we are going to sling it, Mett will have some TDs, but he will have a decent amount of INTs as well. Defenses in this league are too good not to.
If he can limit the turnovers, he will be a great one.

In JC Mett had something like 33 TD and only 2 Interceptions if my failing memory serves me correctly.

I believe obj and Landry, but not miles. Miles is not a reliable source.

JJs inability to consistently throw out of the pocket was visible even in that peach bowl game. I think people expected him to improve and waited patiently but it never happened.

Even though we recall how much Miles preferred JJ the last few seasons, I think he at least has more confidence in Mett's passing ability--I never heard him say those kinds of things about JJ.

Mett does take a lot of chances but I think our defense is good enough to enable him the ability to take those chances.

He was moving out of the pocket most of the game.

He is going to take some risks which is fine with me. One problem the passing game has had the last three years was playing too safely. We didn't have the personnel to do any differently.

Miles strait up said the passing game will be better. Actually said there is more "juice" on the ball. Miles is not an idiot, he kniws what he had in lee and jj and they had just been trying to limit turnovers. Now with mett the rewards will be higher than the risk if we decide to throw it. They werent confident at all in jj or lee making plays and that was evident.

I think next year will be more like 2006 with a much better offensive line and running game. We will be throwing it around and ringing it up on the scoreboard next year. It is going to be a fun season with a much easier schedule than last year. The defense may even be better as well.
