It's great that he flipped but I wish he would have waited until NSD to flip.

He's good friends with two other elite LB prospects we're trying to get - Chaisson and Gay.

This is big he did it early. Will help with both. Chaisson has already reacted positively on twitter and Phillips replied "You next".

Has to be tough to do unless the kid is just some schmuck that really doesn't care. He handled this with about as much grace, class, and maturity as a he could have been expected to.

Welcome aboard young man!!!

Print the shirts. Can he handle the south Louisiana heat? Remember the last top inside linebacker to commit to LSU?

Why?
-it secures his spot
-it gives us a better idea as to how many spots we have
-it gives him the opportunity to recruit for us
-it will give other recruits more pursuasion

Congratulations to this young man for committing to the Tigers and letting OU know. This means he was sincerely thankful and appreciative to OU and their staff. This allows OU some time to find someone to fill his spot. Waiting until NSD is wrong unless the recruit is truly unsure.

It's something to be happy about but there are issues that don't go away........Bama is picking to many fruits off the LA tree.

Where's the proof? I don't believe it. We don't have to resort to those tactics.

Oh, I know we don't. Shows how sad Sooner fans are that they have to make shite up to feel better about a kid making a better business decision.

They're just kids, man. They're not signing up for the army. Nobody can make them go to a certain school.

How is it we can flip such a highly touted recruit from another state but not the locals?
