And the ball landed 48 yards from where he threw it. Now if he could throw a 20 yard out on a dime, then we could compare him to mett

Laugh all you want, but I'll stick by that.

Jarvis and OBJ weren't the del threat Dural is.

I don't think either ever was. Jarvis is great. runs great routes, has great hands. OBJ is great in space and with the ball in his hands, but i never saw him break away from a defender like we see Dural. And the numbers support that. Compare OBJ in 2012 to Dural this year.

REC YDS TDs
OBJ 43 713 2
Dural 26 665 7
And dural isn't done with the season.

Hooking up Mett's arm with a deep threat like Dural would have been big.

If the far hash to the sideline is 100 feet...33 yards. And he threw a 48 yard completion

And we make a triangle..A squared plus b squared = c squared...whatever the square root of 3300ish is.

58 yards.

I think 2013 clouds peoples ability to remember just how bad Beckham and Landry were for the first half or so of 2012. They couldn't catch anything.

Yeah, our last trip to Florida before a couple of weeks ago, do you people remember how many points were scored?

I think its obvious Cam turned Mett around

He helped, that's for sure, but Mett worked extremely hard to improve. After the season ended he devoted himself to improving his skills overall. So a lot of Mett's progress was from his matured work ethic.

I miss his ability to lead receivers the right direction and hit them in stride, but he didn't really have that ability his first 6 games or so.

58.2 by my calcs.

48 yard pass.. 33 yards from far hash to sideline

48 squared + 33 squared = 58.2 squared

That was maybe 52 yards in the air, and that is me being generous.

i was guessing at 75. its a little over 60. if you really do think it "wasn't even 50" you should look up the word "hypotenuse"

im not saying Jennings will be as good as Mett or that hes better than Harris or who should be starting or anything like that. Im just saying its arrogant and dumb for people to say he'll never get better.

he's inconsistent, obviously, but hes also made some great throws. these same inbreds would have boo'd Zach and Dak Prescott off the field at this point in their career.
