Fournette will be all over the nation's television sets and will be on Heisman watch from game 1. Then once we get to October Ben Simmons will join in and that hype train won't stop until March hopefully.

Buckle up boys and girls.

UPDATE:

Apparently LSU is already the talk of the town at The Opening.

quote:

ESPN Recruiting analyst Jeremy Crabtree says that LSU will be the most talked about team at Nike's 'The Opening' Football Camp which kicks off next week on July 7th in Beaverton, Oregon.

LSU currently has the consensus No. 1 recruiting class in the country for 2016 and will have eight commitments competing at The Opening.

Crabtree expects that 2017 LSU commit Dylan Moses will be the best player on the field for his bold prediction.

When has LSu ever dialed up the hype machine under Miles?

When has Miles ever given a single back the requisite amount of touches to make a heisman a reality?

A guy by the name of Jeremy Hill rings a bell... ran for 1400 yards and 16 touchdowns while being suspended for the first two games. Had he not been suspended for the first two it's entirely possible that he could have garnered heisman attention.

maybe, but Fournette wont win the Heisman because he wont get enough touches.

I think you WILL see a Heisman campaign with LF. He is talented, and LSU will promote it. Yes, other backs will get touches and deservedly so, but LF will be the bell cow.

Les job isnt to hype players its to win games.

If the players perform consistently and impacts the big games they will get the attention of the media and heisman voters. See Tyrann Mathieu

Not going to happen. He isn't sniffing 2000 yards with the other horses LSU is obligated to feed. Just not in Les' DNA

He could go from 1034 to 1600 and have a fabulous year but that's not getting you to New York

That and LSU has to win a lot of games for that to even come close to being a reality.

And I guarantee you that ESPN will play LF's Heisman pose vs SHSU non-stop when they're running his hype reel...the same pose that they lambasted him for.

I don't know. If he continues to field kick offs and takes 1 or 2 to the house in a big close game, I could see him making it to New York

Fournette, Simmons, and Lange are all potential top 5 picks.

Simmons is a definite, and Lange is very likely at this point. Fournette would be if NFL teams weren't so scared of drafting running backs high.

Either way, it's pretty special.

LF won't get the carries as already stated, and he shouldn't want that many carries. Protect his NFL career. There's just no need to overdo it in college.
