Tonight there's only a 30% chance at gametime. However, tomorrow we may get over an inch. I'll say tomorrow gets rained out then we play 2, 7-inning games on Sunday.

I don't see why travel time would be an issue, considering both teams will be finished with classes.

they still have to a catch a flight home. one that's already been booked.

there could be a chance to get in the game tonight, BR focast says few showers at 7pm, so as long as the field doesn't flood, which probably won't happen, draining is great there, and no lightning, and just lite rain we should get the game in tonight.

Tomorrow there will be thunderstorms all day, doesn't look good but things could possible clear out by night fall.

Sunday isolated in the morning and probably the afternoon, so as long as we can dodge the drops we will probably get all three games in.

i have faith we'll get all 3 in. the real shitty part is the weather is going to drive a lot of fans away. in such a critical series its going to suck not having the box rocking.

I doubt Vandy's flying commercial non-charter. I'm sure travel can be postponed.

How much pressure does that put on LSU's trip to USCe?

If we have one less game played, then that means we need to be one ahead in the loss column. If we go into the USC series with the same number of losses, or one less loss, we will have to win two out of three. With an equal number of games played, if we went into USC with one less loss, we could lose two out of three and still tie for the overall SEC title.

Isnt there a rule in the SEC regarding the latest a game can start on Sunday?

Yes, it can't start later than 4pm, but sometimes they can waive that depending on the other team's travel situation.

but still loose the SEC

no matter how many games we win this weekend, assuming we are within a game at worst of USCe we have to win the series to win the Conference next weekend. Its straight forward as that.

Tie for the overall title = SEC Championship (shared, but that's irrelevant)

Missing a game this weekend puts us a half-game back of where we would be if we played and won said game. That half-game can make the difference.

If we are 19-8 and they are 18-9 going into next weekend, we can lose 2/3 and still share the SEC title at 20-10. If we are 18-8 and they are 18-9, losing 2/3 means we don't share the title.
