Folks, this isn't going to be a popular post but it needs to be said. Jimbo is not an SEC caliber coach. I think it's pretty obvious that Jimbo was a mediocre AT BEST coach before Jameis Winston. Jimbo was dropping 2-3 games a year, IN THE ACC MIND YOU, before Winston. Jimbo is only a top coach because of one player, WHO RAPED A GIRL, and shouldn't be considered by LSU. LSU is a classy program and does not need a coach who let his players run wild at FSU, and then covered up for them. LSU does not need this kind of press, watch the documentary HUNTING GROUND...do yall want that in Baton Rouge?!?!? Let's do the right thing and keep Les. Yall have a good evening, all IMO so no offense.

Let's keep Les who will lose 3-4 games a year because he's such a nice guy and so the talking heads at ESPN dont say mean things about us. Group hug?

TBH

Been out at work, what did I miss? Are we going to offer Saban now? FWIW I just want an SEC caliber coach. New to the boards so no offense if I missed something. IMO, GEAUX TIGERS.

Why would Herman leave Houston? He has an easy route to get to BIG BOWL games. Looking like he has Houston in the Peach Bowl this year. LSU hasn't played in a bowl that big in years, so why would he risk job security and an easy route to success to be put on the hot seat in Baton Rouge instantly. We play in the SEC west, 2-3 losses is going to happen...and we clearly can't be Bama. It is what it is people...IMO,

I'll be happy with a coach who can develop QBs and who wouldn't run Leonard Fournette at 8-9 man fronts constantly.

Jimbo ain't the answer people.
Let's get on board with an NFL coach (Kelly) and get on to beating BAMA finally. SMDH. IMO, Jimbo can't beat BAMA..hell he couldn't beat Oregon last year. Don't think he is amazing for beating a soft Auburn team in the MNC two years ago...keep in mind he had the best QB in years under him that lofted his stock. Open your eyes people. This is LSU not some ACC cupcake school. We need ELITE SEC coaches, not some assistant that lucked into a HC job and then hit the lotto with a QB.

Geaux Tiguhs.
