As an LSU alum with hog ties just gonna say the gorilla emoji isn’t exactly exclusive to LSU. Seriously the LSU community reference to “gorilla ball” means nothing to other schools. No one remembers our mid 90s home run teams

ETA: Dave Van Horn was the head coach at Texarkana from 1989-1993 and Northwestern State in Louisiana from 1995-1997. Pretty sure he remembers the Gorilla Ball slogan and our 90’s teams considering he basically lived here during that time

LSU got the Gorilla Ball title while leading the nation in HRs during an absolute HR explosion.
I don't know how many HRs Arkansas has, but they're at best 3rd in the conference.

I have the ORIGINAL gorilla ball t-shirt and gorilla ball hat.
When LSU had true gorilla ball players.
i only wear them in certain years like last year but hopefully this year if Tigahs are able to turn things around.

The term has lost a lot of its context since they built Schwab Field. Bertman didn't build his teams for the regular season, he built them for HR-friendly Rosenblatt.
