I liked him on the sideline, and I believe he had more control over the offense.

Harris was in trouble starting the 3rd Q. his confidence looked shaken, and when he threw that interception, well, our normal operating procedure is to retreat to the safety and security of the running game. BUT, last nite we challenged them when they loaded the box after that and let harris throw, and he delivered.

it was the same offense, but we were more aggressive. Hopefully it was a turning point for Harris.

The game actually changed when we went back to the dreaded I formation and LF7 broke that run

I liked seeing all the different sets and formations

I think this offseason could be very beneficial

Well it looked pretty similar to the offense all year, so I guess either Cam had the keys all year or Cam's offense is the same as Les's offense...

i agree Cam had the keys and drove the hell out of it...the plays were there all night too and harris had a terrible 3rd quarter so to me i think its more qb than coaching is our problem...the kid missed some easy passes...now when harris is confident and accurate he is as good as anyone out there...i liked how aggressive we were and it went to show you that the pass can open the run and the run can open the pass...Texas Tech was guessing all night and it also helped when we had 3rd and short yardage too...we didnt get ourselves in obvious passing situations often

Meh, we threw a lot of quick passes and even threw over the middle (with an interception)

I mean it looked similar in that our principles are the same, you can't change that in a few weeks, and there isn't anything wrong with our sets we run.

Lots of playaction and trust in the QB last night (maybe too much). The PA rollout pass to the left side takes an NFL throw, that Harris failed on

That was the same game plan we saw all season with a few tiny wrinkles. It still sucks...luckily TT Defense is God Awful.

I guess we are creative if you consider that were the only team in America with this type of offense

You must have watched a different game than I did

I mean we rarely ran screens all year. We had a bunch last night and I loved it. Getting the ball to LF7 and our receivers with blockers in front is a beautiful thing

I disagree. That's not the easiest throw, but Quinn was wide arse open and any halfway decent pass = completion. I am going to assume Harris doesn't have much baseball background, or at least not on the left side of the infield. Playing 3rd base, I was always pretty confident throwing a football when rolling left.

Exact same offense we been running all year. Only difference was our offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage. The running game was going and that helped the play action passing game out tremendously.

He was wide open, but being wide open doesn't make the mechanics of the throw any easier.

That is a cross the body throw while on the run. Flip that play around, and it is a TD.

That is arguably the hardest throw for a QB to make. I've seen Brees throw ducks on it, and he rarely ever misses his mark

So it def takes a lot of confidence in your QB

This is total rubbish. Not sure I saw a single "check with me" play. Also, we ran more screens last night than we have all season.

No, which is why I gave the baseball analogy. At 3rd base and short, you practice those mechanics regularly.

Flip that play around and it's probably defended differently.

I'm not saying it was a simple throw to make, but saying it requires NFL execution is hyperbole. You can find HS QBs making that throw on HUDL.

If Harris makes better passes, the offense looks really really good.

the missed completion in the 3rd to Dupree sent me in a bit of rage..

How do you overthrow a 6'3" WR with a 40" vertical on a 20 yard out/ curl? He was so open...

Very original. I hope you didn't stay up too late thinking up that one.

And I'm happy we won. I'm always happy when we when, but to think all of our problems are solved because we beat a 7-5 big 12 school is delusional.

They were there. When we went a little up tempo.

We ran like 4 screens that I can remember. The TD to LF7, 2 wr quick screens, and a smoke screen. I think you're just remembering the offense from November and forgetting what it looked like earlier in the season when we was dominating the LOS and imposing our will on teams like Auburn and S.car.
