Imagine the MBB team with Pete Maravich and Shaquille O’Neal.

Imagine a frog having wings and not bumping its arse on the ground when it jumped.

We are doing great with the players on the team.
Winning the NC every year is not the measuring stick.

I've thought that this year as well. She's the best point guard we've had since Erica White in 2008.

Thanks for actual conversation. Some of the idiots on this board apparently think I meant we could actually time machine KP3 from 2 years ago to now and magically give her eligibility, instead of discussing hypotheticals like people do on here all the time.

Any post that concludes with the sentence “That is all.” should be disregarded from here on out.

Morris is the second best since Erica White. Pointer is the best.

NO NO NO NO NO.. Im tired of hearing this. I watched every second of last season. Morris struggled the majority of the year adjusting to being a PG. She was a natural 2 and much like HVL she went through struggles to adapt. She was just a good athlete and could beat people off the dribble better. However she struggled running the offense and made a lot of questionable passes. She's an LSU great, but should not be remembered as one of the best PGs they have had.

Imagine the Lakers when they got Malone, Payton, Shaq, Kobe, Fox, Grant, Russell, all in their prime. Can’t imagine that.

Morris was a PG at Baylor her freshmen year and was highly successful and earned all conference honors. She went like 4 years between all the transferring before playing the PG position again (hence the bumps in the road) but she was recruited out of HS to be a PG by Mulkey and always had the skillset to do it.

But Morris only really played the point one year at LSU. She was off the ball essentially her first year under Kim since they had Pointer granted both would share ball handling responsibilities

All those people that have lives/jobs don't sit around imagining fantasy LSU Sports situations in their heads, then running to post their fantasies on the Rant.

Morris was essentially the most important player on the floor closing out multiple games coming down the stretch in a title run.

Pointer never played at that level on that platform.

They were both great though.

They weren't a title level team, but KP3 was a title level point guard. She averaged something like 20 ppg 5 apg 6 rpg two years ago under Mulkey. Against South Carolina (who won the Natty that year), she had 22 pts 6 assts to lead all scorers (including SC) in a game where SC only won by 6, and almost all the minutes for SC went to their 5 starters and 1 backup.

Put her on this team with it's far superior talent and a Natty would be in the bank.

The best point guard that played women's basketball at LSU was Tomeka Johnson; the rest are not close.

Most games aren’t during working hours chief. Minus the kids field trip game once a year.
