The game would be littered with players like Dylan Crews, Paxton Kling, Jared Jones, and pitchers who throw upper 90s. Sure would make for a better product.

Not at all like minor league. It would be more like CFB with less parity and even more talent spread out among the bigger schools.

What’s great about college baseball though is the parity.

It would make the MLB more interesting because people would have more connections to the talent.

It’s like if the NFL was made up of non college players it would lessen the interest

I’m fine with us having the only pro team.

I think baseball has the best draft system. I think the NBA would benefit by adding a few G-leage teams, add a round to the draft, and you either sign out of high school or stay in college for 3 years.

I do think NIL is going to help some with baseball. Would you rather slumb it in single A for a few years, or spend those years at LSU?

Have you not noticed the yellow square graphic below the score? Pretty much 90% of CBB Pitchers throw upper 90’s nowadays

Imagine some of the Les Miles teams of the NFL didn't make players declare for the draft, and you either were happy with where you got drafted or you stayed for your senior year

I'd like to see a system where an underclassman bids on a round, and if he isn't picked by the end of that round he's removed from the draft pool and returns to college.

We're already seeing it. Pre-covid college rosters were nowhere near where they are now

Imagine if they played with the same bats and balls from 2012-14.

Yes it is, although you may not have meant that seriously.

Just checking the scores on D1 baseball, I see:
Southeastern La beat Auburn 8-7, Columbia beat Alabama 15-3, Charleston Southern beat Georgia 5-4 today. Split doubleheaders.

Consider that, in any other sport.

Of course, "parity" is relative. Looking at the D1 Baseball Top 25, there are 6 SEC schools in the top 8, and 9 in the top 20. That's fricking insane.
