There is no excuse for the mistakes Gray makes. When you point guard has the lowest basketball IQ on the team, it's gonna be difficult to win close games.

We made some mistakes but damn we played so hard. I can't complain.

I would have put the ball in our best players hands, Jarell Martin.

But Hornsby is a viable option in that situation.

The execution was just bad though.

I don't get how you can knock those guys' effort tonight. That's what I'm proud of.

Reality is that we're not a fundamentally sound basketball team. But the effort should receive nothing but praise

Johnny obviously thought we would be out of gas in overtime and that's why he went for the three.

I love the effort, I can not feel bad after today's game against the clear #1 team in the nation. I can however get pissed that this effort we would have never lost to Auburn, MSU, A&M, etc

22 wins gets us in, guaranteed. 21 probably. 20 is on the bubble but if we do well in the SECT we'll get in. Go look at our schedule. We can win 4-5 more games.

How about if you don't lose to garbage teams like Missouri, MSU and Allbarn (at home no less)?

Great game against an unbelievably talented UK team. And should've won.

The boys played hard. I'm proud of them too. If they would have played that hard we win a few of those other L's. Free throws are still a killer!!!!

Yep, very proud of the effort! Could have folded after they went down by 13, but battled to the end and had a chance to win it at the buzzer. Unfortunately, this close game shows what "could have been" with more effort against weaker teams and cleaner play against the better teams. Great effort from wire to wire!

But it takes more than that. It takes a coach who can think strategically and fundamentally. So far that has not happened much this year. What about just driving the lane and either drawing a foul to get to the line or even a possible shot at a plus 1?
