Im on board. Start Brennan.

Look at us. We cant even contain Syracuse. Thats the only reason not to start him.
The positives FAR outweigh the negatives.
Alot of freshmen QBs are doing well out there. Behind our O line, yes there will be some sacks.
But you saw the clear difference when Brennan came in. Etling gets under pressure and his feet start jittering and his throws are way off because of it. Multiple times Brennan had the pressure in his face and got the throw off to the reciever quickly and accurately.
Interceptions come with the territory. Etling is the safe 5th year senior but at this point frick being conservative and safe. Its useless. Let Brennen develop on the damn field, hes going up againat the SEC next year anyway. So give him some starts.
High risk VERY high reward. We have to take risks. This dumb pre snap motion and "chipping away for a short 3rd down" nonsense is going to get us killed. Release the modern spread offense with these assholes, and cover our OL weaknesses with creativity.
We cant use the "he'll get snapped in half" excuse anymore. Not with all these true freshmen coming out and killing it.

We go to florida and likely get smoked anyway.
Might as well develop the guy instead of the fifth year senior that gets no better.

And the first time he has a couple of pick sixes (he almost had one on Saturday) you will be leading the mob that wants him lynched.

People on this board will crucify you, but I agree.
Fact: etling after 3-4 years is as good as Brennan after 3 games. Think about that.
Brennan needs to start.

Ive always wanted to lead a mob.
But you miss my point. This is the worst our offense has been in years.
We got blown out by a team that is a bottom feeder 9/10 times.

I like Brennan but with this O line he will be killed in two weeks. It could be really bad and completely destroy him mentally.
Its not that simple

If anything , At least give him the troy start and see if we can get a spark.
O line will gel.

The cupcakes this entire first month really is the time to work him so he has experience.

"Hey what do we have to lose" isn't a convincing argument.

LSU may need both the way the oline is playing. LN might have to play. I would continue to start Etling, and play Brennan slowly.

Starting Brennan will give fans a reason to watch. As it is now with Etling and Guice both being meh af there's no reason to be excited about this team.

Yeah, start Brennan so he can get pancaked the first play of the game and miss the rest of the season due to injury.

Quick way to lose a team.
"Hey all you seniors we ain't gonna win much this year so your all on the bench so we can get some experience for the young guys. I appreciate you working tirelessly the last 4 years to finally earn a starting spot but go ride the bench please."

No way. Etling is the starter and who you need to salvage this season as he is more seasoned psychologically to handle the knocks. When you can, you give reps to Brennan, but, as others have said, do NOT go the JL route with him.

Florida isn’t that good and if we are to lose it’s either way
Etling couldn’t beat them at home

How many of those other freshmen qbs are 6'4" 193 lbs? It Narcisse were the frosh pushing to start, I'd have far fewer reservations. Brennan is breakable this year where next year he'll be 205 - 210 and much more ready for SEC Dlinemen.

He’s not getting killed
That is so absurd
If anything he’s more mobile, makes quicker decisions, and they actually spread the ball out better with him
