If we win out, there's a chance to play in the Sugar Bowl.

LSU, aTm, and Auburn would likely all have 3 losses. Not sure who'd they pick to go to New Orleans.

my guess is Auburn; they will have won the head-to-head and would be 9-3, we'd be 8-3. Slightest chance that our earlier loss to Bama would mean we're ranked ahead.

I expect the Cotton would want either LSU or A&M, the Sugar would want either LSU or Auburn.

Which of those would mean more hotels bought? I don't see LSU flooding the NOLA area with that, we'd drive down and come back.

Oh I agree with you...at least 1,2 and 4. I was answering the OP regarding the remaining games.

On 3, Indon't think Etling is good enough to get the ball out quickly. No adjustments to OL is a red flag, but maybe that was mostly due to limitations at QB. OM could score points because they have a good QB and play caller.

Cotton is a NY6 bowl, so I'm not sure either of us would end up there. Plus, I think the Group of 5 qualifier goes there.

I believe the SEC also has some sort of tie-in with the Orange Bowl. It's something about the highest-ranked remaining SEC, Big Ten, Big 12 or Notre Dame.

If the SEC gets three teams into the NY6 (not sure we will this year), it'll be the Sugar and Orange.

LSU will struggle mightily against Arky and aTm on the road. They will be emotionally and physically spent after last night. This will be a real test for Orgeron: csn he get them up to play and beat the next three? I think that will be tougher than getting them ready to play Bama.

I think we're going to finish ok, no huge letdown coming. Nothing was at stake this year that was dashed by the Bama loss like last season.

Arkansas is a solid but average team, they shouldn't overwhelm us.
Florida has no offensive threats to speak of.
A&M game is going to look like the Ole Miss game; they'll have some offensive spark, get some QB pressure, but we'll gash them on the ground.

Coach O is a non-factor in all this; he's a lame duck. Team will be playing for pride. Defense kept theirs last night, and is improving. Fournette will want to go out with a bang. Some guys will be playing for draft position, others will be angling for future depth chart.
