Life would be a lot easier for you if you just want Javi fired.

I might get pissed at our lack of hitting some/most of the time but Paul Mainieri is a great coach and the right one for LSU. He seems like a good man and if I was a player I would love to play for him.

Good coach. Nowhere near being "great".

There are definitely some things I don't like about CPM, I'm also not sure why he seems to be the one coach that is above criticism to rantards.

Still I don't think he's a lousy coach who should be on the hotseat

Its almost like we didnt have a dominant team last year. I swear.

Dont get me wrong, we could probably do a little better, but we could also do alot worse. But right now, he is meeting expectations.

I think PM is the guy. But I also think he lacks discipline with his players. After a loss he's all " well the kids" this and " the kids that" he need to own up to his staffs shortcomings every now and then.

I also have cousin that played at LSU, and won a State Title as a coach in HS that says PM is cry baby punk and has no respect for the Yankee.

Own up like he did in the advocate article today?

Imo, he is usually pretty candid in his interviews, whether it being about a player struggling or he being at fault. You can criticize him for alot of things......like how often we bunt, our aggressiveness on the bases, or our philosophy of weak nonconference scheduling, but not his ownership of mistakes. Unlike Les, he tells it like it is, for better or worse

I heard you out, I really did. I wanted to listen to another fan's opinion about the state of the program.

But you're a fricking moron. This is why my friends make fun of me for browsing this website in favor of ATVS.

Man man man. I am disappointed in the hitting as much as the next in line, but now is not the time to throw blows at the head skipper. If you would of said it's time to get a new hitting coach, then I could understand that argument. This is kinda like before CC was hired to be OC. Some people wanted Miles to geaux, some wanted a new OC and the extreme sunshine pumpers used phrases like, "who's paying the buyout or who we gonna get?" in which was code for we don't want any change at all. Well the logical thinker that takes the purple and gold glasses off will say it's not completely broke, but it can be tuned up, and the unlogical thinker will say either it's completely broke or completely fixed. This is just like the offensive problem we had in football, we don't need an overhaul on the who engine(firing coach M), we need to replace a part that will help the engine be more efficient( hitting coach).

Invalid criticism! He is currently blaming the poor hitting on himself.
