So, how do you think JL would have handled that first half pass rush that our O line could do nothing to slow down?

We would do much better than 13-0 and #1 if you were coaching?

Hot read to a quick slanting reciever he has done this well through first few game against ranked teams on the road, he even accomplished this with a quick release while on his back foot making known to the football world that LSU has quality recievers who can contribute to a team effort..(#2 , #33)

Like I said, we should nominate the rantards for COY awards.

btw...you are a rantard

Where did I say anything about being negative? Please bold that part of my quote for me.

My sig quote was originally posted to poke fun at all the "Les doesn't play younger players" threads that dominated The Rant before all these wonderful QB posts have given us 4 years of joy. That might have been when you were still in middle school and not allowed to use the internet on the family computer.

You are a jackass. But then again, I've read enough of your posts to know this already.

How much more undefeated do these Rantards want us to be?

That worked well against Bama, didn't it?

With the o-line playing as they did in the first half do you believe JL would have done better? Remember how he fared agaisnt bama before you answer.

his throws were way off the mark to open receivers. that has nothing to do with OLine play, unless of course he's hit in the process, which he wasnt.

I assume youre referring to the sack. I think in general, Lee has performed better with regard to pressure. In fewer games, it seems as though Jefferson has been sacked more, including a safety. I dont have time to research it.

The same can be said of Lee. Remember Oregon? He had 98 yards. What about Kentucky? Lee was 8/21. My point is that neither is all sec and neither is all that consistent. Both qb's have a problem
Keeping their eyes downfield when the pocket collapses, but JJ can make teams pay with his running when the play breaks down. I think this is the only reason JJ plays the majority and also with JJ in there is a threat to run and throw. It makes the defense play 11-11.

You are correct and I totally agree. All some of us are saying is that if one guy isn't playing very well, maybe the next guy can help. Simple as that. No knock on anyone, just that sometimes guys have bad days. What's wrong with seeing if the other guy can get things going. Some people are just so freakin' sensitive on this site. Aren't we all Tiger fans and just want them to do well. I know I do.

JL does not play his best when the defense is getting a good push....they got a good push in the first half.

I'm not at all getting caught up in the QB "controversy", and I haven't spent much time thinking of it other than to think that if Lee hasn't done anything wrong, then you have to feel bad for him.

BUT you're a more optimistic fan than I am if you aren't at least a little bit worried about LSU starting slowly on offense. I'm not saying we can't come back from behind on Bama, but I am saying that if there's any team I don't want to go down to, it's Bama.

I wish that miles would start Lee and get him in a little bit of a grove. I thought it was perfect for Lee to start and get a lead then bring in JJ to grind out the clock. It's was working great and then Bama happened. Something has to be going on because that first half of the SECCG is by far the worst JJ has ever played. I don't understand why you wouldn't pull JJ and settle him down.

I yield to Miles to decide who starts and who doesn't.
