Hypothetical, of course.

Why would any top 100 recruit sign with LSU?

The only possible reason I can come up with is NIL. Are the basketball boosters going to open up the checkbook for McMahon?

It's football season, why put yourself or any of us through this right now? If you need to complain, complain about Maason Smith like the rest.

Go play at a school who cares about their mens basketball program. LSU doesn't.

top 100?

we’re still a P5 school with a better campus history and atmospheres than most schools.

if you’re McMahon you preach oppertunity and devil penny.

and if they are an LA recruit you pitch em on playing for the home team.

i don’t think we’re ever beating out Duke for recruits regularly. but we can get a top 100 guy

The most famous LSU athlete all time is a former basketball player.

You mean the ones that don’t have coaches offices or weight room?

1. Playing Time-Immediate Playing time is available

2. Forge your own path-Don't be afraid to make your path.

3. NIL-LSU is one of if not the leader in promoting their athletes in the NIL era. You Perform well, you get Paid well.

4. Culture-Make sure they visit on a Saturday night football game to experience the real culture and enthusiasm of the fans.

4. Last but not least, Coaching staff will put you in position to succeed. Staff will surround you with other players of equal or more talent

Only one way out of this hole - NIL funding to make it the richest place in the nation to play basketball. Money talks, bullshite walks when it comes to these guys. Pay them, pay their agents, pay their families. No other way we'll get there.
