I wouldn't take Saban back under any circumstance. He is dead to me after he took the Bama job knowing he would face us in recruiting and on the field every year. frick HIM.

I like Mike Gundy and the Stanford coach.

For the money we pay, Miles should be much better at the management aspect of game day. . . . . and if he could talk less to the media that would be nice too.

Anyone who prefers miles over saban obviously is fine with being 2nd best and cares more about the man rather than the result on the field. Give me saban anyday

I don't like the clock issues anymore than anyone else but to say he is not meeting expectations is stupid unless perfection is your expectation and if it is you are going to be disappointed a lot.

Why do people gloss over the shortcomings??? Miles' passive nature on the sideline and lack of ability to take control of situation in the closing minutes of games haunts him often. The man is being paid F'n Millions (Plural) a year to coach. He should be damn near perfect at clock management since it seems to be a critical part of gameday coaching.

Miles is like a stupid jockey on Secretariat sometimes. The horse usually bails him out because its so much better than most. However, the glaring inadequacies become terrible when the horse falters and needs help!

I dont give damn about any coach but the one at LSU right now. Les is the coach right now and is doing a descent job but not meeting expectations in my opinion.

Just what are your expectations?

And another... Just what are your expectations? What you listed are not expectations, they're incidents in Miles career at LSU.

Glad you find it humorous. If he is falling short in these areas then he is not meeting my expecations of a coach being paid 3-4 million dollars a year. What part of this is difficult for you to comprehend?

You're the one having the difficulty. You didn't give expectations, you gave skills (go read about Chennault some more). So let me give some expectations:

-Acquire a top 5 recruiting class 4 out of every 5 years.
-Win 90% of games in Tiger Stadium
-Win 75% of games NOT played in Tiger Stadium
-Be bowl eligible every year
-Be BCS (or now in championship playoff) eligible 3 out of every 5 years
-Graduate 75% of scholarship players
-Zero violations of NCAA rules
-Be available to Press and Public for questions a minimum of 3 hours each week during game season; and an average of 2 hours/week during off season.

That's my list of expectations. How he accomplishes them, I don't care - even if he does it dancing at the 50 yard line of TS during halftime in the Notre Dame Leprechaun costume.

since we couldn't have saban back, could we have the oregon coach? i can't remember his name right now but he is undefeated and they are destroying everyone they play. they are the best team in the country and nobody's gonna beat 'em either. they will destroy bama in the ship.
