We won a NC and played for another. You are making a fool out of yourself calling his tenure here mediocre.

I was a Miles supporter when the RANTard Nation wanted him tar and feathered after the Ole Piss fiasco and the Tennessee pull a rabbit out of your hat luck out.

Last second mistakes or brain freezes happen to everyone. However, what Miles is doing now is nuts.

Miles thinks he can design a top-10 offensive scheme, but he is totally incompetent.

If you're going to post, at least make an attempt at a valid point. Suggesting 10 or 11 wins is mediocre is just fricking stupid.

You are right. I did screw up there. I should have said 9 to 10 with 10 being on the high end. But if winning 10 games with one being a crap bowl game and no SEC championship appearance is acceptable then Miles salary needs to be reduced.

You are an absolute idiot if you think we played for a second one. We were never in that game from the first click of the clock. That was nothing but an embarrassment to the university. Honestly would have been better not even being in it recruiting wise. But hey...keep looking on the brightside. Hell we should pay Miles more.

I'll admit Miles tenure is not mediocre "compared to" most colleges but he's overpaid.

Its good to know that you can just ignore the first 13 games of last year.

If that's the case I'm just gonna ignore our 3 losses this year.

Mediocrity? We won 10 games in the hardest division , in the hardest conf. Miles just had 6/8 year with ten wins. IT HAS LITERALLY NEVER HAPPENED IN THE SEC. , let alone at LSU. If you think being one third down completion away from winning the SEC west, is mediocrity , then you're ignorant and entitled. I HATE OUR FAN BASE.

The question is; "is Les Miles content with medocrity"? You may criticize, ridicule, whatever... (believe me, I've done my share) However, I also believe that no one, and I mean no one is more disappointed in losing ANY FOOTBALL GAME than Les Miles. In his post game presser, Miles indicated emphatically that there must be improvement offensively. He did it with the Defense in hiring Chavis. I'm going to go ahead and trust he'll do it with the Offense. Les Miles will not allow LSU to settle for mediocrity. I don't agree with all his game decision making, but I support his passion for LSU.

You have two choices, put up the money to change it or cheer for someone else.

Uh the games you play in regular season are nothing but games that set you up for the end of the season. If your happy with not being part of the conference ship then great for you.

I like your post and I hope your right. Time has just shown me Miles is not a very smart coach. If he can surround himself with better talent at the coaching level that would be great. I just do not think he has the brains to get the best out of his team.

This. Sometimes I really believe these fricktards forget that we play teams that want to win just as bad as us. They also have pretty good coaches and players. LSU won't win every fricking game by 100 pts.

And who the frick will we get that's a sure thing.

Sick of these pussy arse whiny bitch fans.

No you didn't! You didn't give me a name of a coach! You call anyone who support miles an idiot. So I would like a name of a coach to support! One that you support! If you can't give anyone one then you are living in your own made up dream world.

Spoiled. Really? Actually over 40 married for almost 20yrs, 2 kids, live in a very nice neighborhood and have a very good paying job that I have been employed at for over 15 years. . Parents didn't pay a dime for my college I worked my way through. Hate frats, hate country clubs and can't stand youth that think think they are entitled to anything. Spoiled, hardly. Sorry I'm calling out your overpaid coach for your school that you feel belongs to you.

Here is my old man rant (insert "get off my lawn," tl;dr).

I remember the 90's just hoping LSU would be competitive enough to look good for television. The highlight of the day was the golden band doing pre-game, because after that we usually got embarrassed. I also remember selling out (yes, selling out) the independence bowl for Notre Dame and Michigan State. Just making it to a bowl game was an enormous accomplishment.

Now 10-11 win seasons are considered mediocre by some fans. Losing a BCSNCG is... unacceptable. Losing a NYDE bowl is embarrassing.

LSU plays in the toughest division of the toughest conference and plays the toughest schedule in the SEC (by virtue of perm opponent UF). A 10 win season should be celebrated. We can criticize the coach for the offense (me included) and we can expect great things, but we also must be realistic. Not many (if any) schools have accomplished what LSU has in the past 6 years.

Folks, try to ENJOY football. It is fleeting. We are not going to win a NC every year. We are not going to win the SEC every year or even the SECW every year. We will win ballgames, we will compete for championships and we will recruit on an elite level.

You didn't ask what coach I support you asked who I support. Not sure what you mean by support but I don't pay for any of them. But if you mean who do I think coaches well I would say Payton, Parcells, Bellecheck, Sabab, Spurrier, Harbough and a few others. I'm sure the spelling is off on a few but that's a short list.
