2 years or less at every stop except for 1. I looked at it the other day but can't remember exactly how many teams in his coaching tenure.

Yes you're right he hasn't stayed long at any place he's been but we don't know the reasons for that. If he wants to be here and thinks he could build a program and legacy here I'm sure he'd stay. Most of his jobs have been as an assistant so naturally he is going to move around a lot. He's had 3 head coaching jobs, 2 in the NBA which are usually short term gigs and now his first college head job at Nevada. So labeling him as a guy who moves around a lot as a head coach comes from a very small sample and not a fair assessment of him as a coach.

for all the arm-chair AD's on the rant, who is your choice to replace Jones and get LSU basketball back to the Big Dance?
Tony Bennett from Virginia; the guy that was available and could've been hired when Alleva's "Basketball Trilogy of Errors" began.

Bennett was Head Coach at Washington State when Peas hired Trent Johnson.

Virginia went on to hire TB and he has turned their program around. He's probably evolved out of LSU's league and price range now.

Incompetent AD's that snooze, always lose!

Alleva has blown it three times now in BB and displayed total dysfunction in the football hiring process. How long before FKA/BOS/TAF pulls the plug on his grossly negligent arse?

All that being said, Eric Musselman would be a very good "Hireable" choice for LSU at this point in time.......................

Jackie Moon would be my first call. My second call would be Air Bud.

If neither answer, then I would just keep JJ.

Whoever the new coach is needs to bring in Carlos Sample from Scotlandville as an assistant, to give us some kind of chance of landing Javonte Smart.

Let's bring in Jim Harrick and see if he can get us in trouble with the NCAA like he's done at every other school he's coached at.

Larry Eustachy, who some may think is too old, has been pretty solid over the years.
